Delicious! It warms up your soul :) great service as well although a bit rushed because of the Small dine in area and a huge lineup. Nonetheless, we understand! For food this good I believe we all have to compromise a bit! Will surely be back soon!!Also, enjoy your vacation to the nice lady who served us yesterday!

We came here to try their ramen after seeing nice pictures of the food online. There's a good selection of ramen, some more traditional bowls and fusion options like the Thai curry chicken ramen. We got the Tonkotsu Black with medium spice ($17.25) and Tokyo Tonkotsu ($16.70). The food is pretty good for Ottawa but a bit below average by Toronto standards, but it's all contextual. Both bowls came with a generous portion with lots of noodles and 4 thick slices of chashu. The broth doesn't have the richness and depth like other ramen shops but it also didn't feel so heavy. The toppings weren't the best—some of the chashu was dry in the middle of the roll and had a refrigerated porky taste to it; long strands of scallion was too sharp in flavour in a broth that isn't very rich so it doesn't need the big bites of sharpness; and the bamboo slices were too sweet.I think there's room for improvement and the owners clearly care about their food so I'm hopeful they'll improve over time. The service here is really exceptional.

I'd heard about this spot within the last couple of months and today was the day to go check it out. Located between Carp and Stittsville in an industrial area, this tiny (22 seats) but BIG on flavour Ramen shop is a go to destination!!!!! After whittling down my choices from four, I chose the Spicy Kimchi Miso. Torched pork Chashu/chicken broth/ramen/veggies/homemade Kimchi/menma/corn/chili oil/fried onions/miso/spring onions/nori It was out of this world wonderful! I wouldn't change one single thing. The broth was intense, bold and spicy! The noodles cooked to perfection. The portions are large so we both brought home take out containers. Hubby chose the Tonkotsu Classic. Creamy pork bone broth/Torched Chashu pork/ramen/half marinated egg/naruto maki/menma/veggies/corn/spring onion/nori. The service was excellent. They had a good crowd despite a bad storm. I can see why that didn't keep people away!!!! We will TOTALLY return. My only worry is that they are a small spot and when I get there, there won't be room....but they do offer take-out, so there's that! :) A wonderful find!

If you haven't made your way here yet, do it. Absolutely delicious, and staff is super friendly and helpful. My ramen had a heat level close to the sunburn, and all the flavours came through. The house chili oil is amazing and blends really well with the broth. Juicy meat, fresh and springy bamboo, tasty noodles. Did I mention they have gluten-free options? Meats are marinaded in GF sauces, rice noodles are available, and several broths are GF. We're absolutely looking forward to coming back.

Parking: Parking behind building

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options

Back again! This has quickly turned into our favourite ramen spot. With the rain and dreary day, we knew exactly where to go and the day called for Seafood Ramen. It was truly excellent. The broth was delicious and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The service is also excellent. The owner is so friendly and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in.If you want a happy tummy, this is where you need to go.-Review Girl ?

Went here and had a really great experience! This is a family run restaurant that dishes up the ramen after extensive care and preparation. The ramen was excellent, had robust flavour and was generously appointed with noodles and meat. I had the spicy kimchi ramen and got it extra spicy! Delicious! We found the price to be very fair for what you get, which was a pleasant surprise. A great experience and we are looking forward to returning!!

Delicious ramen, better than the ramen in China town (in my opinion). The broth is so flavorful and the portions are huge. We left so happy and full. Service is wonderful, it’s cutely decorated (love the Japan vibes!) and they give you delicious complimentary tea while you wait. Can’t wait to go back and try another soup on the menu!

General:-salty and lacked flavour-small portion.-careful with the chilli sauce as the difference between sunshine and sun tan is HUGE.- wished there was chilli and vinegar at the table but you can definitely ask the server to bring you some.Tonkatsu: salty and mediocre flavour.Tonkatsu black: salty but much more flavour and fragrance.Service: 15/10. Super friendly and attentive.

I am in Ottawa for business and drove to Red Gables for crepes only to find that it was now a Ramen Restaurant. The food was amazing, I was speaking to the owners and the change came about because of the lack of restaurant workers and they decided to switch up that they could handle on their own. They certainly made a great decision. The soup was as good as in Japan I had the Tokyo Shoyu with extra egg. (hopefully I spelled it right) The broth was amazing and the bowl was loaded I will be back next year and am looking forward to another visit

stay tf away from my new favourite ramen shop, this place is unreal and i dont want to share it. ive been to a LOT of ramen places, and this one BLEW me away. the location is suuuper cute, the husband-wife combo that runs the place are SO adorable and professional. my wife and i couldnt decide what to get, theres like 12? different variations of ramen, classic, black and kimchi, a wonton one etc etc. so to compromise we just decided to start at the top and keep coming back until we tried them all. PLEASE DONT COME HERE I DONT WANT TO SHARE MY NEW FAVOURITE SPOT ILL FIGHT YOU- but if you DO come on a day where im not here, you are going to fng love it i SWEAR

Had the Spicy Kimichi, classic, and garlic ramen;Food was good, I wish there was a bit more toppings for the price but I get it... supplier distribution;Service was fast and friendly; Not wheelchair friendly;Minimum parking in the back;Washrooms good condition;Other than that, I would recommend.

Kid-friendliness: Great service

Parking: Minimal parking out back

Ramen was great! Tried the tonkotsu classic and tonkotsu black. Broth was very tasty and pork was flavorful. Nice to finally have a good ramen place in Stittsville/Kanata! Since it has recently opened the restaurant was rather busy so the only recommendation would be to hire some extra help. I will be back to visit again!

The Ramen here was absolutely delicious. The Tonkotsu Classic was rich and full of flavor. I'm a big fan of spicy food so I got the Suntanning Ramen with a "not on the menu" level of spiciness that they call SunBaked which is a few drops of Carolina Reaper extract......YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!!! What was even better than the ramen was the warm and welcoming service from Margarita. I'm so thankful that Red Gables Ramen is only 10 minutes from our house. A definite must visit!!!!! Enjoy!!

We had never heard of this place and stopped in while driving back from Ottawa. Turns out it was their second night open.Fantastic ramen. We each got the tonkatsu pork ramen, and it was a great choice. The broth was the star of the show, with the pork giving a wonderful charred flavour to the ramen.I wish all the best for the fantastic duo and their wonderful restaurant!
