I went for my birthday dinner. Steak was so yummy. The halibut didn’t have much flavour though. I always wanted to go to whatever resturant was there for the last 20 years. Glad I went. Good place to have a romantic dinner. I will be coming back.

Had the chateaubriand for two, with a negroni, server recommended wine, and some cheese. Everything was outstanding. Amuse bouche was excellent, maybe a touch more of the apricot to balance the savoury flavours. The cheese was excellent, and the tenderloin was amazing, extremely well paired with the wine. Service outstanding. Would hands down do again.

Great food and great service! We arrived around 6 on a Friday evening, and they seated us right away. The waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. The fois grass and burrata were very tasty. The steak and the magret de canard were good, and the creme brulee was to die for.

This is an expensive place, $100 per person or more. The atmosphere: sound-reducing ceilings, art work and objects, discrete European muzak by Spotify. The kitchen: slow, everything is prepared and cooked from scratch to order. Food quality and preparation are first class, as is service.

Called to make a reso for two as it would have been our first time going there for dinner. The girl who answered the phone could not even answer me in regards to what time the whole bar closed. She said “kitchen closes at 10:45, if someone has a reso we don’t just kick them out so maybe around 11pm” so I asked her is that just the kitchen or is that the whole bar like if we want to stay and have drinks after dinner and she would not give me a straight answer at all so I just hung up. Disappointing as I’ve wanted to try here for a while but it’s already a bad experience

We had a reservation at a different restaurant in the market for a special event last Saturday and the place closed without any communication to us, we were left without a venue to host our guest. Luckily 18 was able to accommodate us and made the evening a special experience. Our waiter, Nick, was very attentive and professional. The food was good. They were very accommodating given it was a short notice. Highly recommend this restaurant

We visited in February 2025, the restaurant was beautiful on the outside and on the inside. The food tasted incredible and the staff were friendly and professional. When my grandfather suffered a medical emergency, the staff handled the situation calmly, professionally and compassionately.
