I'm disappointed at the increase price and at the decrease of the container.
A trio is $20 tax in .
That's absurd.
The side container shrunk!??
Compare the old one with the new one.
I can't wait for the new shawarma place that will open in the new plaza they're building.. because I won't be returning to Retaj.

We did a take out of the family dinners. one beef, one chicken.
Very well prepared, very fresh and everything was well separated in great containers (ie, chips for salad not soggy etc.)

Food was fresh and authentic and very delicious.
Small restaurant but Food is really great quality.

My advice is to Order Shawarma with “Traditional style”and make it combo and let the chef do his own thing and thank me later. 🫡

Went here for the first time to grab a quick sit down meal, ordered the platter to stay and it was HUGE portions! Chicken was excellent and all the food was fresh and hot. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We must picked up a family platter tonight for the first time from this shop, the service was quick and awesome and we are super impressed with how delicious it was.its always a gamble trying somewhere new but we were blown away and highly recommend!

The owner, Musa, is literally an angel fallen from heaven. He let me bake 240 cookies in his oven for a bake sale even though I was a stranger! While I was baking, a few of his customers bought cookies and he gave me all the money. I tried to give it to him but he said no. He is so good hearted. Like wow.

EVERYONE PLS SUPPORT THIS SHOP, TIP HEAVY, AND RECOMMEND IT TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS/FAMILY!!!

From today onwards, this is my #1 shawarma spot in Ottawa.

The food speaks for itself - delicious! Tried this restaurant for the first time this evening and got the family dinner. It's supposed to feed 4 but there is a lot! More can dine on these portions. Friendly and Lovely staff. Highly recommend 👌🏽
