Rice Pea Chinese Restaurant

Pretty sure there not in business anymore? A Covid causality maybe? But im here, they're supposed to be open. But nobody's there and the phone number is disconnected

This is by far the WORST restaurant I've ever visited in Ottowa. Everything except for the Lamb BBQ is disgusting. All the dish taste like is pre-made and heated up in a microwave. I can't believe restaurant like this still manage to open. If you are looking for a decent Chinese place to eat. Please AVOID this place !Thanks for ruining my day :)

Quite disappointed, very small portions. I paid $48 for 2 dishes and an appetizer, the takeout containers were half full, the seasoning was off balance and the lamb was dry and overcooked. The person was also quite rude over the phone. Avoid.

Good food, authentic chinese, but your experiece changes depending on what you order and what your flavour palette is. If your favourite dish is pasta and mcchicken, it might not be your favourite.

I cannot believe I am gonna say this, but Panda Express is even better than this place AND I am a Chinese!

Our take-out was ready promptly, and the won ton soup and three main dishes we ordered were all delicious.

Burnt egg rolls, gross. Honestly, without a doubt, the most salty and nasty chinese food weve eaten, the beef with garlic shoots were inedible due to chuncks of salt. Shrimp not cleaned or deviened and fried, so. If you like your shrimp with shells and eyeballs fried on, you'll enjoy.. If you like, at the very least, a cut so you can remove shell, not for you. We threw our take out away. Nasty, food was cold, not warm, cold . inedible, nasty.

Quality, service and portion has hit rock bottom with change of ownership several years ago. Long time ago, this place was great when it had a DIFFERENT OWNER. Now, it's dirty, food is mediocre at best, lamb tastes stale, portions are smaller, and ironically for high price. Ridiculous. Do yourself a favor... eat somewhere else.

It’s an awesome spot if u wanna get authentic Chinese food. Staff is very friendly. I really like the chicken wings very spiced. The price is also fair. Would go there again.
