Only spot open in weekends. Thank God it has incredible quality and staff!
Ordered a drink and pita. Drink took 12 minutes, wasn’t announced, wrong size and wrong milk. Baristas were just chatting behind the counter, when told that it’s the wrong size they told me I’m wrong and ignored me.
And the pita was ripped, covered in sauce on the outside and terribly wrapped. Baristas here cannot do their job in the slightest.
Constantly are late, have wrong orders and staff are dismissive, rude, and very catty for no reason.
For info, I was here at 2:30 on Wednesday April 16 2025
Went in for a quick bite on Friday. Quick service, and good food. Thankful Roosters is here. Convenient location in between classes.
Thanks again!
I've been here before a few times during the weekdays to pick up a smoothie and grilled cheese for some study sessions. The employees have always been decent enough in terms of politeness and were fast, even when they're busy. Unfortunately I expected the same of the weekend team. This review is about that experience specifically. There were two guys working for my visit March 1st sometime after 2pm. I decided to try the matcha frappe for the first time, and ordered sourdough grilled cheese too. The guy taking my order was giving off the air that he Hated His Life. I thought whatever, everyone has those days, maybe he's going through some exhausting stuff right now (but I read a past bad review here about someone described like the guy today with glasses and hat, so maybe it's just how he is always. I know anyone can be wearing a hat and glasses, but during the weekdays if I recall correctly, everyone wears hairnets).
He made my drink and the other guy gave me my sandwich shortly after. I didn't try the drink until I was on my way out and I literally stopped in my tracks, it was so sweet. Like 90% vanilla syrup, I couldn't taste anything else. I was grossed out, but I didn't want the drink to be wasted, plus I didn't want to interact with his energy again, so I told myself I'd try to make it work. I had another sip once I got to my study area and I felt so nauseous with the vanilla completely coating my mouth. I ended up giving the drink to a friend who added it to her coffee jungle juice (she's a rat)
I didn't open my grilled cheese box until I got a bit hungrier, and I saw it was barely grilled, with the minimal amount of crisp. I thought okay whatever I just know not to buy from here again on a weekend. I took a bite and the cheese was so unmelted I could taste the fridge that it came out of. I'm still eating it because I'm hungry and I paid for it, but what a huge regret. All of this cost me 19.61 after tip. Don't go to roosters on a weekend lol, what a mistake
The pricing felt random, and my drink was underwhelming. Extremely dissatisfied with my experience here.

I recommend the Strawberry Jasmine Green Ice Tea or Strawberry Matcha Latte ?.Posting their new menu signs.
Vegetarian options: They have: roasted eggplant pita, tofu pita, garden veggie pita, and falafel pita as vegetarian options.
Dietary restrictions: They have milk substitutes, and I usually get oat milk.

The chicken shawarma tastes like anything else except shawarma. Very poor quality frozen chicken for $13.55.Do you imagine shawarma without tahini and garlic sauce?Like pizza without tomatoes sauce and cheese

Roosters was packed today and I had one of the best chicken pitas of my life! The worker with the hat and septum piercing is an absolute wizard with Tzatziki. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Cashiers are consistently rude, but the last time I went made me never want to go in there again. A tall and quite thin female cashier stared at me until I walked out after she spoke rudely to me, with attitude out of nowhere. I felt ill and unsafe from her staring and demeanor. It made a lasting impression on me.The cooks are very nice, and food is ok if you are really hungry.

Pita bread was cold. They didn’t even put in oven. Slow service and I asked for 3 different sauces but got only one.

Since when did a belgal sandwich cost 10$ I thought y'all were supposed to be cheap food for students. Not to mention it took them 15 mins and they had no other tickets.
