The location at 318 Bank Street is so very hot and humid inside as they don’t have air conditioning !! Maybe the owners of the Royal Oak should do something !!
Went on my lunch hour with colleagues. Three of us ordered fish and chips. It was the worst ever, dry and hard to chew. Waiter did not check on us after we received our food so he did not have the chance to offer something else . Also, my beer glass was empty when lunch was delivered, I would have liked another to wash down the dry fish but the waiter didn’t notice.
My 2 colleagues who had the fish and chips felt the same about it but did not want to complain.
Anyway the waiter did take the one order off the bill when I complained so I appreciate him making that right but he should have also apologized which he didn’t.
I’m posting this bad review not to be mean but in hopes that my experience is not repeated with others.
Nice but I wish they had vegan options.
The crispy chicken burger is delicious. Very very crispy. The chips are a must-eat as well as the onions rings!! Very good seating outside. Lovely atmosphere on a sunny day. I highly recommend the lobster grilled cheese ?
Always enjoy some wine and great food
Came here with a group of friends. Space is open and bright. It seems to be divided into pub and dining sections. The menu is simple but varied options and small plates available on request. ( slightly cheaper as well)Overall price is reasonable. Parking is easy to find on side streets over weekend.
Would not recommend the pad thai. It was not a pad thai sauce and it was way too spicy. Also I paid an extra $6 for shrimp that was not cooked well. The shrimp looked like it was from a frozen package, boiled and put on a skewer with no seasoning. But I will say the vegetarian flat bread was very good
It's a parking lot. I parked my car and it was there when I got back.
Food was ok it was basic pub food!
My friend and I decided to have lunch here at the Royal Oak. Spacious both inside and outside with an amazing atmosphere. The service was quick and awesome. The food was well-portioned and was absolutely delicious. The price was shockingly reasonable. The parking was the only drawback but that has nothing to do with the Royal Oak. I will positively come again and recommend this location to friends and family.

Love going to this location of the Royal Oak. The staff is always so friendly and if you can get there for trivia it’s a bonus!I’m a fan of the curried chickpea wrap but you can’t go wrong with most of the menu.
Why waste your time and money? The french fries were cold and the beer was warm :( The serves were very disorganized.
