Best Caribbean take out food, I’ve had in a long time. This spot really puts Ottawa on the map when it comes to Caribbean takeout food… I don’t care what anybody else says, This One is really number one in my books, that patties are amazing. The oxtail is to die for I love love love this spot.

If you want some real Jamaican food and SPICY jerk patties with flaky dough - order here ASAP! The food is always amazing. The only downside is sometimes they run out of mac and cheese but that just means you should order earlier and call in advance. Highly recommended!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service and communication provided by the Jamaican patty restaurant Run2Patty, located at 1224 Shillington Avenue, Unit A, Ottawa, Ontario.
Over the past few days, I have attempted to contact Run2Patty multiple times via phone at 343-999-2283, during the listed business hours as stated in the automated voicemail: Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Despite calling during these hours, I have been unable to reach anyone as the automated message repeatedly states that they are busy with another customer. Furthermore, the voicemail inbox is full, preventing me from leaving a message.
On January 4th, at approximately 2:22 PM, I again attempted to call and received the same automated response. Frustrated with the lack of response, I decided to visit the restaurant in person at 2:40 PM. Upon arrival, I found the restaurant closed, with no note on the door and no lights on. This is in direct contradiction to the business hours stated both on the voicemail and on Google, which inaccurately lists the restaurant as being open only on Thursdays.
I have wasted both time and gas traveling to and from this location, only to be met with unprofessionalism and inconsistency. It is extremely disrespectful and frustrating to experience such poor communication and service. I hope that management can address these issues promptly to prevent further inconvenience to customers.
Best patties and po'boys we've had in town. It's difficult not to order our faves every single time, but when we do it's always been top notch. We like the shrimp po'boys but sprung for the jerk chicken and waffles last time which was so good and the jerk sauce is to die for. Instead of ordering next time we will try to visit in person.

loveeeee this place. so thankful to have known about this place before they opened their store on shillington. such good food and also well priced. today my order wasn’t ready on time (bc of door dash smh learned my lesson to just call to pick up) and i had a bus to catch and the sweet sweet person who served me tried so hard to get my food ready quickly. was so appreciated:)
