This was my first Somalian food experience and it was absolutely delicious! The samosas are delicately flavoured and crispyThe chicken wraps are generously filled with perfectly seasoned chicken, and the Sabayas were fresh and warm. We also ordered the sweet chili chicken with a side of rice- absolutely delicious with subtle new flavours that were memorable. We are already planning our next order...maybe tomorrow!

I heard a very good review by the CBC food critic and I was curoius to try Sabaya.I used Uber-Eats to order four items: the chicken wrap, the beef wrap, the seasoned lamb meat and the beef samosas. All were very good.The wraps were flavorful and juicy. The lamb and rice was very tasty, the lamb tender and the rice fluffy.I had one bite of the samosa before it was taken away from me by a family member and eaten!All in all a good food experience. If I could offer one suggestion: offer a vegetarian wrap with a well thought out vegetarian filling as an option in the near future. This would be nice, as one family member missed out.

they got a 5 star review from me when i went there the first time a year ago, however the last 2 times i had been there the food is barely eatable, not a welcoming place and last night with the temperature minus 25 and while waiting for the food, i asked to use the washroom? i was told to go outside by the curve.what a shame to see a promising busniss go down the drain.i dont think ill be going there in the future.

Ordered the chicken wrap and a side flatbread.- flatbread is kind of a cross between a crepe and a tortilla maybe? It's delicious.- wrap was amazing. Hard to describe the flavours but would definitely order again.Customer service was friendly.Takeaway only.10/10 would order again for a quick bite or a larger meal.Vegetarian options: Flatbread. But I bet if you asked they will make you a veggie wrap.
Hands down best sabaya / Somali restaurant in Ottawa. Small restaurant but the highest quality foods! I would recommend the chicken or lamb sabaya wrap because it’s my fav but everything is 10/10. Also try the Mango Lassi!!

Great food and exceptional customer service.Beef, chicken sugaar was great and the quantity was good.The rice flavor was excellent and the veggies were tender.Just the perfect experience for a halal Somali food.They only have a take out option. It's in a business area, so parking lot could be crowded at times.
