I miss Filipino food so much! We even drove 2 hours just to eat here it was definitely worth it. Our friend recommended this restaurant, and it really made me feel like I was back home 🥹 The food was excellent happy tummy indeed! I think her name is Rhea (not sure about the spelling), she was very accommodating and fun. You need more staff like her ☺️

We had a great lunch at Sanduk. We arrived shortly after they opened and the bright, clean space with thoughtful decor was so welcoming. My lola is from Pampanga so we recognized many of the menu items. Our party was 3 adults and two kids under 4. We ordered the lumpia, kare kare and pork bbq and we had unlimited rice. The flavours were delicious and they made filipino food look as good as it can (I say this lovingly as a filipino). We are excited to come back and try different menu items!

If you are craving for a Filipino food, Sanduk is a must go to. Tried the Dinuguan, Sisig, Kare Kare and Daing na bangus, and it was a mouth watering experience. The ambiance was great and home-y. It is an authentic Filipino restaurant with unli rice and budget friendly.

I recently dined at Sanduk with a large group, and we had such a wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly attentive, making sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of throughout the night. Despite the size of our group, service was seamless and welcoming.
As a Filipino-Canadian, I was really impressed with how authentic the food tasted— it honestly felt like home! Everything was so flavourful and comforting. You can tell the food is made with love and tradition.

Went their to grab some lunch. But unexpectedly they were close but on google they were open and in their website shows open at 11am. Went inside maybe they forgot to put the “open sign” so were shouting if anyones there but no response. We went closer to the counter and saw someone in the kitchen i called her thrice and thats the time she notice me. Like i didnt know why she didint heard us or just acting up or maybe she has hearing problem. Then she told us they will open around 4pm like whaaat! They should know how to update their website and in google
We were so hungry and excited because their website said they open on Sundays at 11 a.m., while Google said 12 p.m. We waited until 12 p.m. for them to open, but when we arrived, no one was there even though the door was open and very loud music was playing. We called out “tao po” several times, but no one heard us because of the music. We also tried calling the restaurant’s phone number twice, but no one answered. Eventually, we walked closer, almost to the kitchen, before a girl finally noticed us. She then told us they actually open at 5 p.m. Very disappointing. Imagine driving 30 minutes while very hungry, only to experience this.

Sanduk is the best Asian restaurant in the whole Ottawa area. Costumer Service is excellent and all the food is delicious. I will be a regular for sure. I'll be singing there soon which is a bonus.
