We ordered delivery last night, and we both ended up with mild food poisoning. It’s the only thing that we both ate. I suspect our order sat for too long at the wrong temperature as it took a while. I’ll give them another shot but it’ll be sitting down for a meal.

After a long day of work me and the workmates, 3 of us, wanted to get some ramen, turns out its the worst mistake we could have ever done. Don't get me wrong, the ramen tasted great, but the consequences in the following morning scarred us for life. Me and the guys all got the same ramen bowl, since it was buy one get one, and we subsequently all got pretty violent stomachache, forcing us to stop working in the morning to take care of bowel emergency. I thought it's buy one get one, not buy food get diarrhea

Had dinner here when we visited Ottawa, saw great reviews and thought it would be worth a try… it is! We ordered the Tonkotsu and the Tonkotsu Black. Great broth richness level, love it with the thin noodles. The Tonkotsu Black is my fave because it had a very rich garlicky flavour. We also ordered the gyoza, which was very nice. They’re a bit full during dinner time, you might have to wait a bit, but the service was so speedy. Think we got our ramen within 5mins after ordering. Would come back!

Ordered takeout twice recently and both times ramen here has given me food poisoning. Very disappointing as I have trusted sanostei for making quality ramen for years. Hope they improve their food quality standards soon.

Service was friendly and attentive. My only gripe is that they only offer pork options—NO chicken or seafood, which limits choices for those with dietary preferences. Still, if you're a pork ramen fan, it's definitely worth a visit!

I had a lovely experience at Sansotei! The service was quick and friendly. I had the tonkotsu black ramen and the corn croquettes - both were delicious! The ramen broth was rich and full of flavour and the ramen noodles were perfectly al dente. I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in Ottawa.

After trying all of mosy popular ramen places around Ottawa, we still find ourselves coming back to Sanstei ramen all the time. For us it's definitely #1 ramen place in Ottawa, hands down.
