Ordered takeout twice recently and both times ramen here has given me food poisoning. Very disappointing as I have trusted sanostei for making quality ramen for years. Hope they improve their food quality standards soon.

Tried this ramen spot recently and really enjoyed it! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles had a great texture. The ambience is warm and inviting—perfect for a cozy meal. Service was friendly and attentive. My only gripe is that they only offer pork options—NO chicken or seafood, which limits choices for those with dietary preferences. Still, if you're a pork ramen fan, it's definitely worth a visit!

I had a lovely experience at Sansotei! The service was quick and friendly. I had the tonkotsu black ramen and the corn croquettes - both were delicious! The ramen broth was rich and full of flavour and the ramen noodles were perfectly al dente. I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in Ottawa.
After trying all of mosy popular ramen places around Ottawa, we still find ourselves coming back to Sanstei ramen all the time. For us it's definitely #1 ramen place in Ottawa, hands down.

My girlfriend and I are huge fans of Ramen, and we absolutely love this place! We’ve tried multiple different restaurants but no one beats Sansotei! The service is fast, you usually don’t need to wait long for your food once you’ve sat. But due to the quality of the restaurant you sometimes need to wait in line to get a table, which is fine! So if you go here give yourself some extra time! The waiting staff is very friendly, and are very pleasant to be around! Particularly Natsuki did an excellent job waiting our table! She was very attentive, and offered great suggestions to help us with our choices! Truely exemplary service from her! Thank you for the great experience!

Stopped to eat here after seeing a line forming outside and the food was definitely worth the wait. This ramen is the perfect pairing for a chilly fall/winter day.
Parking: Parking on Bank street is definitely easier on the weekdays as there is much more space on the street. If you are going for dinner you likely won’t have to pay depending on the hours on the metre.
