Stopped by for sushi and went with the Love Boat option. The presentation was nice, and the ingredients felt really fresh. The combo also came with miso soup and tempura as a starter, which we appreciated.
The space was clean and the staff was polite. They also offer complimentary green tea—just ask, and they’ll refill it as much as you want, which is a lovely detail.
That said, a few things could be improved. The sushi itself wasn’t particularly remarkable—the rolls in the Love Boat didn’t really stand out or offer anything memorable flavor-wise. The interior felt a bit humid, and better air flow or ventilation would definitely help with the overall comfort.
Also, the TV was playing the news the whole time, which didn’t really match the vibe. Something more relaxing or ambient would go a long way—because let’s be honest, the news just kills the mood.
Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re nearby and craving fresh sushi, but there’s definitely room to elevate the experience.

I had read the reviews prior to a visit here last night, and I was inspired by one of the reviews stating that they searched for the ultimate Ottawa sushi for 3 years and this was the best! I can assure you that review is false! I have been to a large number of establishments in Ottawa that surpass this place in all avenues of quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail. We are a family of 4 and only ordered food for 3 of us. The meal was less appealing flavour and detail-wise than a bento box at Loblaws and it rendered a $180 bill without drinks. The cleanliness of the location is the worst I have ever been to! The table tops were sticky as if they cleaned the tables with maple syrup. And the partitions separating the tables were decided by plywood unpainted. Anyone reading this - please go to these recommendations instead. MHK Sushi, Hockey Sushi, or Nippon Sushi (take out only).
Everything about this celebration for my son’s birthday was a disappointment. We are a family of 4 (mom & dad along with a 10 & 15-year-old).

Food was good (a little expensive for what you get) and I wish there were more variety and options. The interior also isn’t a vibe and unfortunately our experience was tainted by the older waitress.
Absolutely outstanding sushi!!

I go here on a regular basis. The staff is very accommodating; sushi is sooooo FRESH. One of the best Sushi Restaurants in Ottawa. Their platters are my personal favorite…

One of the hidden sushi gems in the city. The food is always perfect. The only thing we don’t like is the interior which is so ugly and uninviting with ugly wooden partitions. So, we do takeout. We would eat here more often if the interior was more inviting.
