Ordered espresso frappe with whipped cream. Got a drink with whipped cream and please dont even mentioned abt espresso, you cant even taste any coffee at all. The baristas here couldnt care less about doing your drinks right. Its so inconsistent that I will stop going to this Second Cup outlet from today onwards.

We went to this place this afternoon, none of the crew had hairnets, the lady making the drinks had her hair hanging down. Not sure how this place meets the food safety regulations!

they really need to put more than 1 person on shift in the mornings. It’s way too slow and they really deprioritize mobile orders when they even have 2 people in a line. They make great iced lattes so I want to give them my business but it’s just way too slow and the staff there work so hard.
Also they need to fix their outdoor accessibility button - it only works half the time

I've been going to this Second Cup consistently for the last year or so, and very much appreciate the consistency in good service and quality! The staff are very friendly and hardworking; it's a go-to for working or hanging out for many. Keep up the good work! :)

Came here in summer. Way too hot inside. Very weak A/C. They have thermostat set to 25C, though temperature is actually likely 26-27C.
Patio out front is quite dirty with cigarette butts littered around and under the tables. Not sure how this happens given it's illegal to smoke on all patios.
Coffee also not great. Espresso quite bitter and Espresso-based drinks come with large volumes of milk.
This location seems run by and caters to the large Middle Eastern community in the South end of Ottawa. Likely why the thermostat is set so high.
Not a good look for Second Cup.

I was waiting in what I thought is a line first time visiting here and they didn’t acknowledge me and wanted to take another person’s order. when I said something they first took my order but for some reason the person behind me got the order sooner and I got a stinky eye. Didn’t feel welcome. Food and drink were good though.

This is a bit of a weird location and standards seem very low for Second Cup. As you enter the front door, there's a garbage bin right in front of you before you open the 2nd glass door to go inside. The entire cafe reeked of strong chemical cleaner-very off-putting and gave me a headache. Lots of seating and nicely decorated, but the place seemed a little run down: bathrooms were dirty with stains and visible disrepair of the walls and doors etc. I hope this location gets more TLC to keep up with Second Cup standards!
I got served by a barista, she was very sweet, however I realized how I wasn’t able to tip her on the machine which I found strangely weird. Unfortunately I didn’t have any cash on me so I was quite sad and embarrassed that was I wasn’t able to tip them. I would love to have an option on card to be able to give those hard working baristas a small gesture to thank them for their daily hard work. Not sure if that was an accident because I used to always tip through the machine and now it’s gone. Not really fair… regardless 10/10 coffee! Just ass the tip back!!!

I absolutely love this coffee shop—the atmosphere is great, and the baristas are truly amazing. They’re always friendly, efficient, and clearly care about the experience they provide. My only feedback is that I wish there was a way to leave a tip for them. These are hardworking people who deserve recognition, and it’s disappointing that there’s no option to tip. Please consider bringing that feature back!

This review is for the young lady, Sama (sorry if misspelled), who was working alone on Sunday, April 18/35 and kept the long line flowing with a beautiful smile on her face. I decided to try a new drink and she did an amazing job.
