Barista doesnt greet you, no smile, heavy sighs and eye rolls. Maybe shes having a bad day but if you're in a customer facing roll you have to at least pretend to be happy to see your customers. I smiled and said hello and she gave zero acknowledgement, didnt even look at me. I told her my order and got a "that's it?" From her and that was the extent of it. I said thank you and wished her a good day and she just walked away, again with no acknowledgement. I'll go to other locations in the future.

Only reason they dont get a 1 is because the female barista is a sweetheart.
Otherwise, im astonished by the muffin I bought that literally had MOULD IN IT. Disgusting. Not visible at the top, so I may be able to understand why they wouldnt throw them away. But this is disgraceful, must have been from minimum a week ago…. Never buying any type of food from here again.
Additionally, I got a cinnamon cold foam iced latte and it was very milky up until the bottom and yes, i did stir.

This is one of the nicest Second Cup locations in the city. The atmosphere is excellent for work and a great place to meet friends or clients. It really helps that the coffee shop including the washrooms are kept clean.
I often come by to pick up a coffee and the service is top-notch. 10/10 for all the staff as they are courteous, kind and welcoming.

I love Second Cup, so it pains me to give one star. I went in this morning and ordered my favourite drink exactly how I wanted it with a pump and a half of creamy vanilla syrup. The cashier asked me if I wanted it regular sweet and I reiterated a pump and a one and a half pumps of creamy vanilla he then proceeded to tell the barista one pump. If a drink cost over $6 the way to get customers to return is to make their beverage how they asked. So disappointing.
