Great experience here on New Year's day! Friendly welcoming staff, quick service, great variety of drinks. Second Cup in general is really impressing us lately with their quality of drinks and being open all hours. Definitely will be opting for them more than other coffee places from now on!

This particular branch of The Second Cup provides an exceptional customer experience. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who engaged in friendly conversation. The establishment sources its coffee from Costa Rica and roasts it locally in Canada. We savored a delightful Chi Latte and a refreshing Peppermint Macchiato. Despite a steady stream of customers, the ambiance remained relaxed and conducive to unwinding and enjoying our beverages.

This coffee shop is placed between a tim hortons and a Starbucks, but is just objectively the best.
The staff will greet you with energy and smiles. They genuinely seem to like it here.
The air is perfectly conditioned, it's never loud, it smells nice. There are comfy armchairs, outdoor seating for fresh air, there are indoor tables with plugs for your laptop.
There are lovely plants inside and outside that breath life into this downtown coffee shop.

A BIG shoutout to the Philippino crew and the owner Mr Maruf at this Second Cup location. Their customer service is amazing compared to the previous owners & they really go above and beyond for their customers. The food and drinks are great as usual from Second Cup. The only thing this place is missing, is a facelift/reno and I hope second cup HQ will do it for them because they deserve it.

I don’t know but something with their Chai Tea Lattes do not taste right - never hot enough and finally after three days of a really bad stomach after drinking it, I am not trusting that place again.

i’ve gone here 3 times now. I work close by, so it’s the most convenient coffee place for me that isn’t starbucks or tim hortons (boycotting!). 2/3 times my coffee was so burnt I could only take a few sips before pouring it down the drain. One of the lattes I got was also mostly milky tasting with hardly any coffee flavour. The last time I went, I placed a mobile order and put in 2 sugars for my americano. I get there on time, with no one else in the store, and they have only just started my order. Once it was done, the barista handed me my drink and said that he only put one packet of sugar and handed me the other one to put in myself, which I found strange. I want to give these guys a chance, as I’m abstaining from starbucks and tim hortons, but the inconsistency is going to make me just bring a coffee from home. On the bright side, the staff were friendly!
