Bachar and the whole staff are the absolute best. The drinks are always consistent, line moves fast, makes great conversation etc. I walk twenty minutes there and back just because it’s my favourite second cup to get coffee at. Bachar runs the place so well and is incredibly efficient. Love this place! Best staff ever. 90% of the reason I go!

Honestly this just wasn't really that good? 2 stars because they made my drink fast. Staff were not friendly and the general atmosphere was really dirty. Drink tasted ok.

Sadly the worst experience, firstly they were not even interested in taking order. When i ordered a Hazelnut latte, it was cold and with no foam. Even three shots of espresso didn’t feel like it. She gave me a weird look when i asked her to correct the drink. Zero customer service, no interaction. Never recommend this location to anyone.

Was visiting Ottawa and was very disappointed with this location. Incredibly rude staff looked annoyed all the customers were in the store. No greetings just "Next what do you want". Wouldn't go back.Worst Second Cup experience ever

It absolutely baffles me how a coffee shop is open after 9am??? Covid is over. You really need to change your hours. A lot of people would appreciate that.They are also often out of ice and bananas. For an almost $9 drink… it’s a bit ridiculous. It’s like management doesn’t even care. They don’t write signs or anything so you stand in line forever only to find out after the fact wasting your time. I go on my breaks at times and that’s a lot of wasted time

I've given this store multiple chances, but each time I'm greeted with unprofessional behavior, and the drinks are just terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The taste is simply the worst I've ever experienced, and the customer service is just as bad. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this store at all costs.

I ordered a French vanilla cold brew at first. It was too sweet. I got back and ordered another cold brew black. And I tell them to dispose of the vanilla cold brew that is still full . Seeing me disappointed. The cashier offered me a refund. However, the manager beside him said that the refund cannot be done. That leaves me more disappointed than before. Therefore the one star. I seriously believe that vanilla cold brew they added too much sugar. It's almost undrinkable.

The staff here is friendly and work in a timely manner but it seems management/ownership is the problem. I don’t want the staff to get in trouble but it’s been eluded to that they don’t get the tips that customers leave on the POS and only receive the cash tips because management don’t see those. Also, more recently, there hasn’t been ice at this location for a long time. None of these are issues with the staff but it seems the management/owners are leaving them there without proper tools. Not sure if this is a franchise or run directly by Second Cup but they should really look to fix it.

I warn against this shop, I purchased hot chocolate and it tasted like milk and really bad. I went back and he added some syrup to the drink and milk and still tasted so bad and never seen how chocolate made that way before. It wasn’t even dark brown or came close to the classic flavour I had for years. I recommend to avoid.

My Family and I visited this store when we went to Rideau store since all the other stores had a line. This seemed like a nice little coffee shop to go to with no line. Boy were we wrong, the staff were already drinking away at their own supplies. So anyway we ordered a strawberry boost, mango smoothie and a matcha tea, followed by a bagel with cream cheese(Didn't even get it by the way). All the drinks were rushed, the matcha tea had WAY TOO MUCH MILK (85% at least) the strawberry boost had some kiwi seeds in it (which means that they didn't even wash the blender) AND gave us the wrong receipt. We spent 30 dollars on these things and enjoyed none of it.Please take this review and consider retraining your staff!
