Shefali Bazaar in Ottawa was such a pleasant surprise! Their wraps and rice bowls are absolutely amazing - especially if you're craving that authentic Bengali flavor. The lamb and chicken curries were rich and delicious, and both the chicken and veggie wraps were packed with great taste and freshness.
The place is small and usually busy (which honestly tells you how good the food is!), but the service is super fast and the dishes come out fresh every time. Prices are very reasonable too, making this a great go-to spot if you're looking for something tasty without breaking the bank.
If you’re in Ottawa and anywhere near ByWard Market, Shefali Bazaar is totally worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed!

The spicy aroma brought me in from the street 😉 Excellent curry chicken dinner plate was just spicy enough 😋 Tikka plate was also very good ☺️ Home-made Naan bread was hot and tasty. Friendly owner served us without delay. Enjoyed our touch of curry very much! Definitely recommend this restaurant 👌

Delicious food, I wasn’t even hungry I was just shopping at byward market and the amazing smell as I walked by was too good to ignore so I had to take a look at their menu and after talking to Shahab he helped me pick a nice meal and was easily one of the nicest people I’ve ever met at byward market. Highly recommend the food and the service is top tier
