I had the most delicious beef shwarama in a decade here. The beef had a mix of imperfections that highlight that it's authentic, blended with a nice sauce which does not overpower.
Came here yesterday for the first time and i am definitely regretting only getting one meat pie! The dough was so soft and the meat was so good! I will definitely be back for more! The chicken shawarma sandwich was also very good. The staff were also very nice.
Trust my review. I live in Hamilton now, but I used to stay in Ottawa a few years back. Ever since then, I’ve been hooked on the shawarma chicken poutine from this place. Even after moving, I’ve tried poutine at countless spots around the GTA and Hamilton—none of them come close to this one. It’s hands down the best poutine I’ve ever had.
One thing to note: the staff taking your order rarely smile or greet you—they usually have serious expressions....
