It was my first time at Shawarma Palace and i was really excited to try it because of all the hype on ig and tiktok. Unfortunately, the food was not super good, could just be the rush hour but i did not enjoy it at all. I found the food somewhat bland which was disappointing cause i hear people rave about it. I visited the shawarma restaurant on a Monday night, and it was a truly wonderful experience! The food was so delicious and fresh. The cashier (I think her name was Hanin or Hanan), who was wearing a hijab, was very kind and polite, and her beautiful smile made everyone feel welcome. An Ottawa staple for good reason! The shawarma here doesn't disappoint, it's prepared fresh upon order with a broad assortment of sides and toppings available for both plates and wraps.
