I went there with a friend to eat. If you’re wondering about their shawarma poutine. It’s so yummy and great. The fries were crispy, the chicken shawarma, the cheese curds and gravy. Was the best thing ever. I never thought of the combo. Buy it.

Food is mediocre, the potatoes taste old and dry and the chicken is somehow bland. You're also not gonna get the same quantities as the actual Palace. Don't waste your money here. I don't know what it is about food courts but somehow food court food is inferior to the actual restaurants in every way imaginable.

I’ve been going to Shawarma Palace since they only had one location on Rideau Street, so I’m a long-time customer and genuinely a fan of the brand. Unfortunately, this St Laurent location has been disappointing compared to the others.
The staff here often come across as rude, and the portions are noticeably smaller than what you get at other Shawarma Palace locations. That’s frustrating, especially when the other locations are consistently 5 stars in my view.
That said, I do have to give credit where it’s due—the food itself is still cooked to perfection and tastes great, just like it always has, so I can’t complain about that part.
I really hope this location improves by adjusting staff attitude and serving the proper portions that Shawarma Palace is known for elsewhere. There’s a lot of potential here, but it needs work.
