The tiramisu is out of this world, when you get it as a full cake (had it in 2021 & 2023). Their little cup versions are not the same or as good but I more or less enjoyed them anyway (had in 2024). The small, cube, pistachio cake tastes like gross, sugary, grocery store cake (2024). The small, cube, chocolate hazelnut cake is rich and very chocolatey, less hazelnut flavour (2024). It was too rich for me. I'm not sure that they put the nuts inside the cakes at all, only on the outside.
(2024) One employee is also unwelcoming with their body language, but the others are great.

Purchased a red velvet cake for my daughter's birthday and unfortunately it was spoiled. Cream cheese was bad. Called to report it, but no follow up or apology.

A cute little café that we like to visit every so often to pick up little treats. They have a great selection of beverages, sandwiches, Gelato and pastries. Today we picked up Bomboloni and Ferrero Rocher cake. Hoping to try out their afternoon tea one day soon.

I bought a smoked salmon bagel, but the salmon was brown. I informed the workers, who checked the other bagels and found they were all the same. They offered me either another sandwich or a cash refund. I chose the cash refund and returned to my table.
About 15-20 minutes later, a worker came to my table with the bagel, asking for the cash back. They explained that they had contacted the owner, who said there was nothing wrong with the sandwich and asked them to retrieve the cash. I returned the cash because I didn’t want to cause problems for the workers, and the bagel ended up in the trash.
It was the strangest experience I've ever had. I will never go back there again.

Caramelito Cafe is a cozy spot on Preston Street in Ottawa. This cafe has very inviting atmosphere and delicious coffee and pastries. It's a great place to unwind or catch up with friends over a cup of coffee and a treat!
