Ordered a lemon raspberry birthday cake and was not disappointed!Sent in the order via email, received a response within a day. Pick up was smoothe and seamless.I wish I took a picture of cake but it was delicious! It was very light and did not feel heavy, the flavours were good!

I love Carmelito's drinks. Their matcha is absolutely delicious, and their desserts are yummy as well. Staff is friendly and attentive. The only problem I have with Carmelito is its atmosphere, the furniture is very old and uncomfortable and the place is not very clean. The upstairs seating area is stuffy, and the furniture and tables were also horrendous. If the furniture was replaced and some adjustments were done to the lighting, Carmelito has the potential to be one of the best cafes in ottawa.

We got a tea, latte and a tiramisu. Everything was good. We came on a winter night which I think affects the overall experience. They have a very charming space that I can see people loving, but with my wet boots and winter jackets it felt stuffy.

Cozy and spacious cafe in Little Italy. Our service was quick and friendly, but I was mostly shocked by the amount of upstairs space there is. Perfect for studying or doing some work, while enjoying sunlight and some tasty treats!

The girl that was at front made me uncomfortable with her looks, I asked her a question and she looked at me as if I asked something so weird even though I was just asking for a phone charger. She also looked at me and my friends up and down. We ended up leaving because it was so uncomfortable. I love Carmelito and will always love to come to this place and wont stop but this time it was just uncomfortable with the looks and attitude.

Unfortunately my drink was served cold (I think she forgot to warm the milk). Wish I went to Starbucks next door instead. It also cost nearly $9 for a chai with almond milk which seemed wildly expensive.
