Definitely a “hole-in-the-wall” type of restaurant. My friends and I showed up around 10:30pm and were the only ones in there. We could tell the server was annoyed at our presence, but we were hungry and decided to stay. We got a variety if different meals to split between the 4 of us. We got the duck, cauliflower and chestnuts, beef and peppers, and zucchini! It was a nice mix of savoury, spicy, and umami. We were all very full and even had some left over.
If it’s late at night and you’re looking for a bite to eat, I’d definitely recommend this if you want to try something new!

Great food, great service
We've been here 2 times and the food is terrific. Truly flavourful.
There is few parking spots at the back of the building.
The place is not particularly inviting, but the service and the food do not disappoint.
This time we tried the Country style pork belly (spicy), the Sautee sour beans with minced pork (spicy) and the Sautee sliced beef with onion and ginger (not spicy). All terrific.
Most dishes are spicy, so consider that before stepping in. We love spicy!
Will be back for sure, the menu is worth exploring.

I come here with my partner at least once a month. It’s one of our favourite Chinese restaurants!!! I love their house-style braised pork and tomatoes & eggs! Great food, and opens late! Love it!😊
Definitely pay a visit if you like spicy food. They are very generous with numbing peppers and red chilies. So far one of the few authentic tasting Chinese restaurant in Ottawa.
recently had the pleasure of dining here and tried a variety of dishes including the pork belly, house special chicken, BBQ chicken cartilage , and bamboo fish. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, especially the pork belly which was perfectly tender and rich. The house special chicken stood out with its unique seasoning, and the fish dishes were fresh and cooked just right.especially the service was quick.Overall, the food was really nice and exceeded my expectations. On top of that, the customer service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Thank you for always accommodating my late-night delivery order!
Good was descent but not superbe. They have a regular meal menu and a grill or hot pot menu.
I prefer the grill and hot pot menue as every items is like a tapas dish.

Very good food, try the spicy lettuce and the braised tofu - the garlic stir fried cabbage is also very good but is not cabbage or Chinese cabbage but rather bok choy. No tea... Not that they need to offer any, it just might have been nice.
Update: their potato with vinegar and chilies is also really good and they remembered that I like things extra spicy si they now have full stars. 🥲🙏

Bad service everyone on their phones the girls there playing games on the phone making me wait 20 minutes for my orders
Order via Uber Eats. We only ordered Cantonese chow mein and general Tao chicken. The chow mein container was majority vegetables, hardly any noodles. And they were burned on the bottom. No flavour.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I ordered via uber eats and I practically received chicken bones with little to no meat on it. A meal like that with just bones is sth a dog would eat. This is diabolical. And my money wasted on a food I can’t eat.
Good accommodating place, tasty dim sum, wish portions were larger.
