I've always enjoyed the food here, but my latest order of Pad Thai was simply not good. I was very disappointed at the quality and taste.

Good food, small space and big heart! Social Thai serves good food in a small space run by the nicest people. Don't judge the place from the outside. It is tiny with just a few tables. Venture inside for good food. We started with veggie and shrimp eggrolls, crispy and tasty. We had curry for the main course. Spicyness was subtle and potent but not overwhelming. We finished our meals with some delicious pistachio and chocolate pastries. If space and surroundings matter to you, try their take out. We will remember the restaurant as the small place offering good food serve by friendly people. Social Thai on the corner of Bank and Waverley.

The Pad Thai was not that great. It tasted very much like tomato sauce was used as base. Italian Pasta vibes… not that great. The meat was also not tender.

Tried this small spot for the first time today.

I was invited to use the electronic kiosk to place my order, which I hate as I’m an old school person who enjoys human interaction.

While ordering what I thought was a pad thai, the very kind staff clarified that I placed an order for a fried rice… so they accepted to just change my order without adjusting the price, which was thoughtful.

What you see in this photo is a seafood pad thai (shrimps, sea scallops and squid). The portion was very generous and it was tasty.

This place also hosts a coffee shop which offers a few items that look delicious. Will give that a try eventually.

Ambiance is not the best, buy still a cute quiet spot for a quick meal or coffee.

Recommended.

SWEET?! Ordered a curry it was just sugary soup, all the foods here are full of sugar and taste gross, not worth it especially for the price I was so excited to eat but it tastes disgusting

We loved eating here. My 9-year old loved the pad thai. We ordered green curry -- it was full of flavor. We got squash fritters and they were crazy good. Great spring rolls. But be prepared for some steep prices. About $20 per dish. The place itself is cute and has a good vibe. Once I got over the shock of the price, I ended up really enjoying myself! Very accommodating!

Coffee shop that also serves restaurant food. The coffee bar closes before the restaurant part, so couldn't get coffee with dinner. I suspect the food truck parked at the back produces the food, which is fine. Docked a star due to limited drink options and an odd atmosphere for a sit down restaurant. I would go back for coffee or takeout, but not for a dinner date.

Amazing thai food! GREAT service. Our family enjoyed all the food we ordered. They also have a lot of dessert section in the cafe side.
