Had my birthday dinner at Sona last night. Absolutely incredible. From the appetizers to the mains, Loved everything. Service was tight and friendly. New favorite Indian restaurant in Ottawa.

Portions are big, so you won’t leave hungry. Prices remain kind to the wallet. Ordering online is easy and quick. Meals fill the belly without emptying the pocket. Simple and tasty food. Perfect for those who like good value. Enjoy from the comfort of home or while out.

Had such a warm and lovely experience. The food tasted incredibly fresh — we ordered the veg dry and absolutely loved it, especially with the complimentary papadom and chutney (that little touch felt like icing on the cake). The non-veg platter was amazing too, and the charcoal flavor on the shrimp really stood out.
The ambiance is cozy and aesthetic, the service is genuinely welcoming, and everything arrived quickly.
The best part? No loud music — just a calm, peaceful space to truly enjoy the meal. Definitely a spot I’d vouch for!

Not only do they have the best butter chicken I've ever had (I live in Toronto but am a frequent visitor to Ottawa & I always get an extra order to take back home), but they are truly good people. Being the genius that I am, I left my purse there & the owner insisted on driving the ten minutes to drop it off to me because he saw there was medication in it. Can't say enough good things. ❤️

Had visited for our anniversary celebrations based on the google reviews posted , but it was a disappointing experience.
The taste of the food was not authentic. Lamb Rogan josh was too salty and the soups were bit too sweet.
Moreover the owner/manager was not willing to graciously accept the feedback , instead started suggesting us other alternatives for Indian restaurants in ottawa.
The server was good though.
Overall , it was not as per our expectation , what we had hoped for our special occasion.

Not as per the expectations.
Daal soup and Creamy tomato soup were a bit too sweet.
Lamb rogan josh was a bit too salty initially. They took back and rectified that, but still the taste of Rogan josh was not authentic .
Chicken 65 was better than other items.
Breads were good.
Had visited for our special occassion , based on the google reviews posted , but it didnt turn out to be as per our expectations.

We had dinner here, and the service was amazing—especially the older gentleman who took care of us. The food was equally delicious!
