We had a lovely dinner at Speakeasy. The food was very interesting, fresh and good. Wonderful cocktails. The service was the standout. These days, I find the time between ordering and delivery of the appetizers and main meal is crazy fast... sometimes I feel like they are rushing me out. This was not the case of our server. She was attentive but not hovering. It was a wonderful meal. Speakeasy is highly recommended.

We went for tapas, figued we would need 4 or 5, bur server told us they are large so we ordered 3 and that was perfect. Nice atmosphere, good singer, great food.

My husband and I recently visited your restaurant for a date night. We were warmly welcomed by our server, Andrew, which started the evening off on a positive note.
However, unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. The cocktail with passion fruit and prosecco, which we’ve enjoyed at your place before, tasted quite different this time — not as balanced or flavorful as we remembered.
It was also quite hard to get Andrew’s attention during the evening, as he seemed preoccupied with other things and not very attentive to our table. Additionally, we were initially seated at a table that hadn’t been properly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing.
We really like your restaurant and have had great experiences in the past, so we hope this feedback is helpful for improvement

Tonight, we had one of our best dining experiences at Speakeasy Tapas Lounge. I highly recommend the Vodka Pasta, the Old Macdonald Sliders, and for dessert, the Tiramisu and Cheesecake. Everything was so flavorful and made with fresh ingredients.

We were asked to move to the tiniest corner table even though my husband made a reservation. We were a party of 3 waiting for Mark to arrive from parking. 4 people who were walk ins arrived, they bumped my table, were served menus before me while we were completely neglected.

While the atmosphere was pleasant, unfortunately the service was not. My partner and I visited Ottawa for the first time, this was the first restaurant we went to for dinner. Our server took our initial drink order, served them to us, and disappeared. We had to ask a second sever to order our food. That server then became busy with their own tables, and with our initial server still missing, we had to go up to the bar to attempt to get a second drink (which were empty when food was served to us and the server neither asked if we would like another one, or even gave us the time to ask as he rushed off so quickly) The food was mid. I ordered the salmon with lemon rice, salmon was bland and the lemon rice was extremely mushy. When our unpleasant unfinished plates were taken away, our server didnt ask how our meals were or if there were any issues. I expressed my concerns. Nothing was done about it, no apologies, no discount, I was passed the bill and machine and the server walked away. Not impressed over all. Would only go for the entertainment and a cocktail, if that
