We were staying in Ottawa to do a standardized evaluation for a career. The staff here were very attentive to our needs and remembered us both days when we ate breakfast here. Hesham in particular made it memorable, we shared a very insightful conversation both days while he was making our omelet at the station which was quite flavourful. He was able to gauge what we liked based on our conversation which was impressive. He’s very kind and honestly eased our nerves for our test, and congratulated us when we returned. I would totally return to this hotel and dine here when I return to Ottawa. :)
Their buffet breakfast is one of the best I’ve had, their selections are more thought out compared to just scrambled eggs, bread, and meat. They had smoothies, eggs Benedict, beans, the omelet station, smoked salmon…. Pretty worth it.

We have stayed here both for business and as a family, and while the concierge lounge is currently closed, the alternative breakfast location in SPIN dos not disappoint (there are also appetizer coupons for the evening).
More specifically, we want to thank Hesham for going above and beyond to ensure our children had a memorable visit. His kind and attentive nature have our children asking to go back (and he even recognizes me without the children)!
In fact, the breakfast staff have been a highlight of the restaurant. All very kind and on the ball for a quick and enjoyable breakfast.
While I look forward to the M Lounge being built, in the meantime, the personable and friendly service is something to look forward too during breakfasts at SPIN (and an incredibly delicious buffet as well).

Chef was helpful with requests From host staff to bartenders and wait staff this group is the friendliest and most professional customer service team I have seen in awhile! Kudos to management here for the hiring. I sampled all 3 meals and happy hour at Spin and was very happy with options and quality. Recommended!

Had coupons from the hotel as the lounge there remains closed so was lucky to get to go for morning breakfast buffet as well as evening appetizers. Our morning server Albert went above and beyond helping to accommodate my celiac son and his gluten free needs, as well as to make sure I had a coffee to go every day. Excellent service, great food and nice atmosphere (lobby noise from hotel affect ambiance slightly, thus the 4/5 grading there).
