You're treated like a person, not an inmate or someone to be pitied. It's run restaurant style, they bring you the food, just show up.

The staff and volunteers here are incredible. I would recommend everyone to volunteer their time in the kitchen to help out prep meals and distribute them to the underserved population in the downtown Ottawa area.

The staff/volunteers are polite and friendly since writing a negative review stating issues with the foodbank it has significantly improved! They definitely listen to people and should keep up the good work!
This location is an emergency feeding centre not restaurant. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner starting 9am, 11am, and 4pm. Food ran out and got nothing wasn't even warned to get a sandwich instead. No real concern for letting the hungry at all.

Its a church with a home cooked meal table. you can eat, pray and volunteer in a beautiful one-stop-shop. Community oriented services and activities with an organic garden to boot. Donations and volunteers are always welcome. Its also in one of the oldest university campuses in Canada, A Canadian heritage site.
