A nice stop for a special treat! I ordered the Grande Caramel Brulee Latte (half whip) and it was absolutely delicious. My granddaughter had the Grande Pumpkin Chai Latte and said it was the best thing she’s ever tasted! The café is clean and spacious, with plenty of seating and good lighting. The washrooms were spotless, and I noticed many students studying comfortably. Free Wi-Fi is a great bonus. A lovely spot to relax and enjoy a sweet moment. The servers were very nice and helpful..

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a Starbucks. The staff named SIENA was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I said I didn’t want my brownie warmed, she threw the bag on the counter with an attitude instead of handing it properly. Her behavior was disrespectful and completely unacceptable. This location seriously needs better training and management attention.

Very friendly place. Good service. Not those only pick up cell order you have to wait like other Starbucks. If you a walk in order ) This one has nice lounge sitting area. If you walk in and order you get treated well. And don't have to wait from all those mobile orders. Staff if amazing in this location. Clean nice place. And espresso is so amazing

The customer service at this place is extremely poor and unpleasant. The young woman at the counter is incredibly rude, with a hostile and unprofessional attitude. On top of that, they clearly don’t know how to make a proper latte—it’s basically coffee-flavored water with a splash of milk. And to make matters worse, they make sure you’ve bought something before letting you use the restroom. Truly a terrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I ordered 3 items and out of 2 were lactose free milk and I received everything with normal milk. Otherwise staff was friendly.
I had a wonderful experience during my visit. The barista helped my niece choose a drink (all she knew was that it was pink and topped with whipped cream). I was impressed by how the barista was able to understand which drink she wanted based on her vague description. I particularly like this Starbucks because it is spacious, clean, and has more character than those located in strip malls.

This Starbucks on York Street is easily one of my favorite spots to grab a coffee in downtown Ottawa. Not only is the location super convenient, but the space itself is also a total win. Another small but appreciated touch: the self-serve cream and milk station is well-stocked, super tidy, and easy to navigate. It makes customizing your drink quick and convenient, which is a huge plus during busy hours.
