The staff are super super friendly here and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and take care of you. My wife's drink wasn't what she thought it was so they made it over for her and they told us that taking care of customers is their number one priority which I felt is true. I would definitely come here again

The employees here are very disrespectful, they have no respect for the customers, they ignore the customers.
Employees have to learn how to respect their clients.. very bad experience with employee named Esteven, clearly there was a line up for the bathroom and he still decided to put his code to unlock it while there was someone inside and he turns back smiling. When confronted he dismisses the situation saying that we are making a big deal for no reason. We had to ask for him come out of the kitchen since he would not even take the time to apologize..

Me and my sisters went into this starbucks to use the washroom, there were 2 people in line before us. My sister then went in when it was her turn and there was another girl waiting in line to use the washroom. An employee by the name of “Estephon” then sees the girl waiting and goes to punch in the code for the washroom assuming that the washroom’s locked and that that’s why the girl was in line. As he was punching in the code, the girl told him there was someone inside but apparently he didn’t hear that? He did not do the simple gesture of knocking the door before opening the door, while someone was actually inside. We later tried to get him to apologize for what he did and he did not seem genuine at all started showing us attitude because apparently we were “making a big deal out of nothing”.

One of my favourite Starbucks in Ottawa. I'm not as keen on the atmosphere as sometimes there are sketchy folks hanging around and I feel uncomfortable, but in general it's fine here and the huge majority of customers are super nice. But the staff are absolutely wonderful here! I've been coming to this location for years (since it opened mid 2010's actually) and overall, the staff has been great. The new crop of staff here are extra wonderful. One of my favourite barista's is Emily, she is always friendly, takes the time to talk to costumers, aways has a smile on her face, and just a really nice person. She loves people and it shows, even when it gets busy and it's hectic/line ups, she's still super relaxed and friendly with everyone. There are so many people in customer service that shouldn't be, and Emily is a true gem! I hope the manager/owners realize this!! (give her a raise!! :) Now if only I can get Starbucks to get GF bread for sandwiches finally, I will be a very happy camper as I could eat here, too! Amazing place to stop for a quick coffee or to chill out and do some reading!
