A unbelievable lack of care from the employees at this location. Paid for an extra espresso in a caramel macchiato, watched Dawson pour half of the espresso down the drain. When questioned, he said it was going to overflow if he added it in. I payed for the extra coffee, not milk, so if i wasn't watching he would have stolen from me. He repoured the espresso and added it begrudgingly, spilling foam everywhere as he handed it off with a sarcastic attitude. I hardly, if ever visit Starbucks any more, but this just solidifys my decision. Would recommend any of the other real cafe's in the neighbourhood.
Paige was so sweet and kind this morning to my boyfriend and I. She was so friendly and I forgot to order oat milk but mentioned while ordering about lactose free milk or oat milk and while she was making my drink she paused to clarify with me if I wanted oat milk!! It seems small but it made my morning better :)

Disappointed by Unwelcoming Service at Starbucks on Bank St, Ottawa
Coming from one of the friendliest provinces, I was shocked by the cold treatment my daughter and I received at the Starbucks on Bank Street in Ottawa. After waiting in line for quite a while, we approached the counter and were met with complete silence—no greeting, no smile, nothing—from a barista named JJ. It was uncomfortable and disheartening, especially when I noticed JJ warmly greeted and smiled at the customers after us.
It left me wondering: was it because she recognized something about me or made assumptions? I sincerely hope it wasn’t personal or, worse, racially motivated. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be made to feel invisible or unwelcome.
I usually don’t post complaints, but this experience left a really sour impression. I hope Starbucks looks into this and reminds all employees that every customer deserves respect and kindness—no exceptions.

Now everyone back at work school You should open tell 9:00. Pm summer time case people go on vacation make it 8:00 pm idea. Case I was hear on wed September 3 7:48 pm was busy.
Had a lovely experience with a fantastic barista. i wasn’t able to catch his name but he was a master roaster! came from taking his break right over to help us and was so pleasant and chatty. also watched him perform a huge act of kindness in making someone who was visibly upset a new drink without being asked. he was kind and so helpful! great experience because of him :)

The Starbucks is like my home.I love this place and no, I'm not homeless The workers here are really nice and sometimes they give me free stuff if I don't have money and no I do have money. I give this place a 10 out of 10.The food is good. They order my drink exactly as I like it.They're very kind but do respect starbucks policy.
As you can see, I get alot of starbucks here, it's the best local starbucks and has a nice patio. Also JJ is the by far nicest worker there.

Gwen was beyond welcoming and made me experience amazing at this location. She was very knowledgeable and I absolutely loved her suggestions, even though she seemed to be overloaded with tasks. Will be returning for her!

I usually love Starbucks, but my recent experience was less than stellar, thanks to a barista named Julianna. I ordered a drink with light ice, and when I got it, it was packed with ice as usual. When I pointed it out, instead of apologizing or offering a solution, Julianna was defensive and insisted it was correct. It felt more like she was more interested in being right than providing good customer service. I get mistakes happen, but the way she handled it was unnecessarily rude and petty. Not what I expect from a place that prides itself on good service. I definitely have noticed this with a few baristas here in the past.
