The coffee was great, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. There was a small mix-up with the milk – they served oat milk instead of regular – but it didn’t affect the taste, and I actually enjoyed trying it. The penguin cookies were adorable and delicious, my son loved them! The place was busy at the lunchtime but that was expected.

Amazing Service Friday Night!
Shoutout to the fantastic lady working at Starbucks on Friday night! She went above and beyond by serving us at almost closing time (9:59 pm) with a smile. Even though they'd just cleaned their coffee machine, they were ready to make us drinks which we declined recognizing that it would take them time to go home. We asked if we could get water and this amazing lady served us with happiness and smile. This kind of service is rare and...

Starbucks is the only coffee shop I know in Ottawa that filters the tap water from the source. This is important for expressos, but also for all drinks, including the ice! Not all Starbucks shops have the same vibe though. The Starbucks at Preston St provides great courteous service and a relaxed atmosphere.
