Just watched the flamboyant white guy with the Lightning bolt tattoo at the cash being rude to literally every customer that walked in.
Not letting people finish speaking before cutting them off, constant rude looks, passive aggressive slow talking when somebody didn't hear him, and just generally having terrible customer service.
Now I have worked at Starbucks, and was instrumental in achieving district record scores for customer satisfaction at one location, and a store best at another store.
This person's customer service is completely unacceptable and at this point I am done with Starbucks as a whole.
Let me know when Starbucks switches to a hiring policy based on merit over ideology and skin colour, and I'll give it another try

Arguably the worst Starbucks in Ottawa. I have never gone here and finished the drink I ordered because it’s always terrible. I don’t even bother going here even tho it’s closest to my house because I always end up disappointed. Most of the time it tastes like concentrated syrups or like they made the drink with toilet bowl cleaner. I don’t get how they are able to be so consistently horrible at making my extremely common drink. The service is also horrible, they couldn’t care less.

Horrible service, me and my two friends went to Starbucks and one of them had to order their drink 3 times because there was plastic in their drink. She had to spend 25$ because of the 3 drinks and no refunds? They also were giving us weird faces and talking back and giving attitude.

Ive been going here for YEARS and always came back because of the customer service and quality. That will change because of a disappointing experience at the drive thru on Monday, June 30 between 1-2pm. As I don’t recall the name of the person who was working, they were very confronting about me wanting to use my rewards for my order. I was genuinely excited to use them because I’ve been saving them for my post graduation treat. How it works: you have to scan your rewards/payment on your phone to bring up an account, otherwise you can’t use ur rewards nor pay with the card on account. At that time, I scanned my rewards/account and the person said “there’s 0 balance on your card” and I said “I would like to use my rewards please” and next thing you know it was a big issue. The huffing and puffing began from the worker and then they said (so rudely) “next time, if you want to use your rewards SAY you want to use them right away”. I kind of paused after this because they previously scanned my card, didn’t say anything and quickly went right to payment option instead of asking me how I would like to pay (spend my rewards) like they would normally say.
Then I received my drink in the wrong size I KNOW I didn’t ask for. I know what I said in the drive thru loud and clear. Then I was told by the person working rudely “that’s what you asked for” which at that point baffled me because nor did they want to correct themselves and do anything about it, but instead they walked away from the drive thru kiosk right after that interaction. My partner and I just were so confused because we both heard me say my order size and were really surprised by this response. The right thing to do would be “oh I apologize, we can fix that”. So there I was, holding my drink in the wrong size that I didn’t ask for, received POOR customer service and the only good thing was the sandwich I ordered along with. I won’t be spending my $ here again and most certainly not my 500+ stars rewards because those they seem to be a huge issue.

I go to this Starbucks very frequently - all of the staff are incredible they're all so nice and accommodating.
Shoutout to Vana, she deserves a raise or some kind of recognition. She's detail-oriented, friendly, and is someone that makes me wanna come back to this establishment.

Everytime i go here, I always feel so welcomed. Today, they were extra busy and I was having a rough day, and the person who served me, Zak, and the others, made me smile and made my day. 😭 Thank you! I really needed those kind words. Plus my matcha is always made perfectly.

My wife is the Starbucks fiend. We go to this place a lot now and the service when we've gone is overall good and the staff we've met are friendly and our orders have been accurate - even over the years. The store is clean, and good atmosphere overall, though it is a smaller location and can fill up at busy times. What can you do with such a small location?!
Depending on the time of day, the wait can be longer as it is a smaller location and there are not really any other locations to go to. It would seem to me it can be super busy. So it is understandable to me on wait times occasionally as some other reviews mentioned. The parking and drive thru can be kind of awkward just because of the location. Tighter for larger vehicles. Good planning will make your life easier.
Nice bonus recently c. April 2 , 2025 - a staff member with some art talent drew some fun designs on my wife's cup. Not sure everyone would love that, but we love it. Being a designer myself, I took the liberty of coloring it in Corel Draw. Take a peek.

Been coming here for quite some time and honestly the service is hit or miss. I was served recently by a girl with pink hair who was very standoffish, annoyed and not wanting to take my order to begin with. One drink was punched in incorrectly even though it was ordered the proper way, but when I brought up the correction, I was met with even more annoyance and rude looks because I asked for it to be made the proper way (which was iced not hot).
