Interacted with an incredibly rude staff member this morning when I was asking a simple question. Turned straight around and headed to Bridgehead. Just because it’s 5am doesn’t mean you treat people so poorly.

I don’t know why airport food places always get bad ratings — some of them are really nice, like this one. The service was super quick, the staff were friendly and the food delicious. They also had good selection of options to choose from.

Absolutely awful, don’t waste your time here. I was travelling on an early AM flight out of Ottawa airport. I was there around 4:40am. My flight boarded at 6:05am. The 2 staff were at the Starbucks when I arrived at 4:40. They told several people they would be open at 5am. At 5am, they told people it would be 5:30am “when their boss arrived.” The 2 girls then went back to the staff area and gossiped for what felt like forever. We could hear them giggling and talking trash about people. They would peep their heads out the door to see how long the line was - growing by the minute. They never told us when they would be open. At 5:54am, they emerged from their gossip sesh and started working without their boss, which they easily could have done 55 minutes prior . At that point, many people left to catch their flights and I myself left because l needed to get something to eat before my 5 hour flight. Absolutely terrible experience. No communication, no service.

Impressed with how long they were able to keep a steady pace.The lines were endless with so many boarding and waiting.Filipino lady who I seen in the place across went to help them take order and get simple food items, which was nice to see.Fast service cause its an airport you cant be slow. Cookie was okay. Drinks were good. Filipino lady was super funny and friendly.

“Not set up to accept the app”…. Why not? The app is an efficient payment system. All my gift cards are loaded onto the app and now I have to pay additional money out of pocket because they won’t accept it.I expect Starbucks to accept their own payment system
