Horrid, unwelcoming, renovation and the temperature always being freezing in there aside, the barista who made my refresher this morning made it very weak and watery. I especially ordered and paid for extra base. When I saw the pale colour and took the first flavourless sip, I politely asked for more base, as the drink tasted weak. She got defensive, was a negative communicator, and put me down for not liking her drink. Very poor customer service. And on Christmas Eve of all days to feel unwelcome.

had multiple experiences at this Starbucks (Iris location) where it closes earlier than the posted hours. It’s frustrating to arrive expecting it to be open, only to find it already closed. I hope management can ensure the store hours are followed consistently or updated accurately to avoid confusion for customers.
Absolutely ridiculous organization at this place. Three times in a row now that I've made a mobile order, shown up 5 to 7 minutes later and seen multiple people order at the cash and get their drinks before mine. So they are ordering over 5 minutes after me and getting their orders before me. Multiple people, multiple drinks each time, and I have one simple drink order.

The asian guy is incompetent, he called the wrong name for my drink and had me standing there pointlessly when my drink was already done. Until someone else turned the cup around and i saw my name on it. Plus I ordered a quad and it definitely was not four shots. 6 dollars for hot water with minimal flavor 👎

I didn't catch his name but there was a wonderful man (long dark hair, fantabulous earrings) who plugged my phone in for me when it died and was stranded waiting for a bus. Great sense of humor and a joy to talk to, I wish I knew his name.
Otherwise, I used to work in the area and despite short breaks they always got my drink ready in great time, nice and cleanly, great environment as it's attached to Indigo.
Sab the server was very knowledgeable and helpful I will definitely be back!!!!

There were only two staff working today. Both were very nice and efficient! Seb especially was killing it with preparing orders and being professional.

Took 15 minutes to get a refresher and a coffee because the staff made the coffee and let it sit on the counter while making drinks for everyone else until they remembered it was ready when we asked about our second drink.
Utterly useless/disorganized service.

I went to this Starbucks and showed them pictures of the drink I wanted—a simple Dragon Drink with cold foam. They took my order, but when it came out, the drink was all white. I was charged $9 for what was basically just milk.
I asked why it wasn’t made with dragonfruit, and they said they were out. I asked if I could get the Pink Drink instead—they were out of that too. They also said they had no raspberry, strawberry, or vanilla syrup. So instead, I was given milk for $9.
When I brought it up, all three workers stared at me and insisted I was wrong. They said the drink would taste exactly the same, even though it looked and tasted nothing like what I ordered. It was frustrating and disappointing.

I placed a mobile order for a customized iced espresso doppio in a venti cup, with 3/4 inch of milk and extra matcha cold foam, and selected “no room.” I’ve ordered this exact drink well over 100 times at multiple other Starbucks locations, and it’s always been filled to the top.
At this location, the drink came less than two-thirds full. When I inquired, the store manager, Amber, firmly stated that this was the correct way to make it and that other stores had been doing it wrong. When I asked if it could simply be topped up with milk, she said I’d need to pay an additional $3.
When I expressed my dissatisfaction, another staff member named Seb told me I had only two options: pay the extra fee or take the drink as is. While I understand preparation methods may vary slightly between locations, I was disappointed by the way the situation was handled, especially by the store manager.
I’ve since submitted a formal complaint to Starbucks head office. I hope this location takes the feedback seriously and improves its approach to customer service.
