I had a disappointing experience at the Starbucks in Findlay Creek today. The staff member who took my order, named Sahil, was quite inattentive and came across as rude. While I was trying to redeem my points and showed him my phone, he kept insisting that I needed to scan my app. After I did, he then told me that I couldn’t claim my points because I had already paid using the app.
Throughout the interaction, he seemed distracted — talking to someone else and answering the phone while serving me. When I tried to calmly explain that I found his attitude disrespectful, he repeatedly responded with “Sorry, I don’t understand you,” instead of making an effort to listen or clarify.
In the end, another staff member stepped in, understood what I was saying, and apologized on his behalf — which I truly appreciated. It’s unfortunate that this level of service came from someone representing Starbucks, as I usually enjoy coming here for both the drinks and friendly service. I hope the management can look into this and ensure better customer interaction in the future.
Not sure if it has something to do with the drink I ordered, but the latte I ordered was very chunky. This is my usual order, so having never experienced this I can’t imagine its proper. Either way, very un-enjoyable. The little chunks in question are on the side of the cup in the first picture. Taking a sip would fill my mouth with them, as they are semi hard you’d have to chew them (I did not finish the drink lol) Staff was very friendly, location is very nice, but as this was a pickup order I will avoid this Starbucks for the time being.

After today's experience they deserve a negative point. Absolutely unprofessional with no management oversight. Was in the drive through for atleast 10 minutes due to line up, no issues. When my time came to order there was no response, even after saying hello on the speaker a few times. As soon as I moved, I could hear could you back up. Ofcourse the guy behind was bumper to bumper so I couldn't. I instead, went to the window hoping they can take a quick order and I can go through. No, the answer was you need to go back in the line. The easy solution would have been taken the order and asked to come in to pick it pick, but no! Fine, thanks for your exceptional service. I will remember the outstanding hospitality of this store.Thank you!

Extremely Poor Drive-Through Experience
I had a very disappointing experience at this starbucks drive-through. I waited at the speaker for over 10 minutes with no response. I even said “hello” but no one acknowledged me. Eventually, I drove away—and only then did someone call out, “Come back.” By that time, the car behind me had already pulled up to the speaker.
Since I missed placing my order, I figured I will do it at the window. But when I got there, I waited another 10 minutes with zero acknowledgment. The employees were busy chatting with each other and completely ignoring customers. It was frustrating to witness such poor work ethic and lack of professionalism.
Eventually, a staff member came to the window. I politely explained that I missed placing my order and asked if I could do it there. Without any courtesy or effort to help, she simply said, “No, go back to the drive-through line.” I was shocked. She could have easily offered a solution—like taking the order and asking me to pull forward while they prepared it, or suggesting I come inside to pick it up. Instead, there was no attempt to provide service or show basic customer care.
I understand that the floor inside the store can get busy, but that’s no excuse for neglecting drive-through customers. At the very least, staff could turn on their headset and politely ask us to wait a few minutes. Basic courtesy and communication go a long way—and sadly, this location failed on both fronts.
This was absolutely poor service. The team here clearly needs extra training in customer service and professionalism.

Slowest drive through of any Starbucks I have ever been to - literally 22 minutes to get an order (which was 12 minutes longer than the ETA)🤦🏼♀️

It took over 5 minutes for my order to be accepted at the drive-through, which felt unusually long. Also, it’s a bit confusing to see tipping options in the drive-through (really?) and the screen has glare, making it hard to see the prompt, especially in bright light…so be careful.

Love this place, never have an issue with any of my drinks! The food is really good and so are the people! Great atmosphere to study or to have a coffee date with friends. Only issue, which is not their problem, is the parking lot. It’s a tight squeeze for a truck or bigger sized SUV but the drive-through makes up for that. Overall a great location!

Oh what a mess! Let’s start they stopped accepting cash at 8:30pm. Tried to load my Starbucks card via debit, reversed it, took $7.08 from my card balance then charged me an extra 20.15 on a $24 order. Oh when checking my history tonight noticed they also charged me for two cookies when I only ordered and received one. So not only did I not get the extra cookie I paid for they took $27 on a $24 order. I would have preferred to have paid properly then to get points twice. Not sure I’ll be going back to this location.

Apparently, they’ve stopped serving water if it doesn’t come with a purchase.
Consistency at each Starbucks, either in Canada or USA. I am not a coffee drinker, so I have a Chai Latte or London Fog (hot or cold, depending on the seasons) or a green tea lemonade
