This is the Starbucks I go to the most because it’s near my house. Usually I would always pre order and pick up my drink and my dogs pup cup. I don’t like leaving my dog tied up and alone outside so I would just bring him in for 5 seconds to pick up my drink. Usually staff is super nice but this one girl today was very passive aggressive told me I can’t have my dog inside and I have to leave him outside. First off- THERE IS NO SIGN ‘NO DOGS ALLOWED’ ANYWHERE! Second of all No one will tell me what I’m going to do with my dog.

Even during busy moments, she connects with me, making my drink just right, and always takes the time to go through all the options. It’s clear she and everyone else genuinely cares, and even when I come in for a late refills, she ensures everything is perfect.
As an old partner of Starbucks for four years, I can genuinely say this is the best Starbucks in all of downtown Ottawa. The quality of their drinks and customer service cannot be topped anywhere else.

Service was very poor there was just one other person besides myself. That person had already been served she was busy talking to the two people behind the counter. Only had a coffee and it is very hard to make a really bad cup of coffee and I did not try any of their food. I only had a medium coffee with milk and it cost me 2.52$ and I am not sure if that is good or bad when it comes to pricing. All I know is I can drink a full pot of coffee at home for a lot less. 10-06-24 service was much better had a brownie and it was good. I could not believe how uncomfortable their chairs were.

Waiting 25+ minutes for in-house orders is the norm at this location regardless of how apparently busy they are. One poor girl making all of the drinks for both mobile orders and in-house guests is beyond asinine. Who is the manager making these calls? It's hard to be frustrated at the service because you can tell they are working very, very hard. Um. Maybe hire more baristas and put some on mobile exclusively so your in-house doesn't suffer to these extents?? Oh maybe I should just get the app and contribute to the problem? Actually, some of us value our privacy and don't like the idea of corporations profiting off our data just so that we can have comparable service as yesterday.
