The barista messed up my initial mobile order, which happens. No big deal. But then she wanted to just dump out the coffee frappuccino and make a creme one in the same cup... Luckily a coworker did tell her not to do that. She remade the order and then put the wrong topping which was disappointing but I had no faith in her getting it right if I tried a third time so I just took it and left. Very disappointing only because it was remade after the error was pointed out and then had more mistakes. :(

Julia is just an exceptional barista and even better person! Her knowledge and attitude surpasses any expectations or experience I’ve had in any Starbucks. She welcomes you with a warm smile and genuine conversation! Any one would be lucky to be served by her!! Keep it up !

I got there 30 mins earlier than open to get bear one. but one of their worker took 1 merchandise from the deck even people lined up in front of door. Even she got there 20mins later than me. she opened the door cutting the line. I heard that merchandise is limited. I know she is coworker. but if she watched that line, she needed to give up, but she didn't. That's unfair :(

Wow! This was my first visit to the Starbucks on Laurier, and I was more than impressed. The baristas, Claire and Nev, were absolutely stellar—friendly, welcoming, and happy to chat. They even helped me decide what to order since I wasn’t too familiar with the menu. The drinks and food were both delicious and refreshing, the perfect fuel for my study session. Overall, a great experience propelled mainly by the excellent service from both the baristas, and I’d highly recommend this location to any students in the area!

Ordered medium latte got a bunch of foam that tasted like frothed milk. They didn’t even get the frothing right, it looked like the frothing of cappuccino with no coffee.
I took it back and the other barista re-did it. I’m giving general two stars just because at the end of a long day it’s nice to just not have to return your drink. I gave four stars for the service because neither baristas had good customer service and were nice about it.
Super fast, clean, and they often give tastings. Very satisfied every time!!! Good job

This is the Starbucks I go to the most because it’s near my house. Usually I would always pre order and pick up my drink and my dogs pup cup. I don’t like leaving my dog tied up and alone outside so I would just bring him in for 5 seconds to pick up my drink. Usually staff is super nice but this one girl today was very passive aggressive told me I can’t have my dog inside and I have to leave him outside. First off- THERE IS NO SIGN ‘NO DOGS ALLOWED’ ANYWHERE! Second of all No one will tell me what I’m going to do with my dog.

Even during busy moments, she connects with me, making my drink just right, and always takes the time to go through all the options. It’s clear she and everyone else genuinely cares, and even when I come in for a late refills, she ensures everything is perfect.
As an old partner of Starbucks for four years, I can genuinely say this is the best Starbucks in all of downtown Ottawa. The quality of their drinks and customer service cannot be topped anywhere else.
