My wife and I visited State and Main last night to celebrate New Years Eve. We were thoroughly impressed with our experience. The food was delicious, the service was superb. At no time did we ever feel rushed. Our waitress, Jess G was one of the reasons we had such an enjoyable evening. She provided excellent service had a great attitude and a great sense of humor. The special New Years Eve menu provided several excellent options at a surprisingly reasonable price. This was not our first visit to this resturant nor will it be our last. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable evening

The food was okay, but our experience was disappointing. It was a very busy evening at the restaurant, making it difficult to have a conversation due to the noise level. We had to speak very loudly just to hear each other.
For dessert, we ordered five gluten-free cheesecakes (four for takeout and one to try at the restaurant) and one cinnamon bun with ice cream. After tasting the cheesecake and the cinnamon bun, we decided we didn’t like the cheesecake’s flavor and asked to change our takeout order of four gluten-free cheesecakes to four cinnamon buns with ice cream instead.
We informed the waiter that we had tried one cheesecake and didn’t enjoy the taste, so we no longer wanted the four cheesecakes for takeout. However, the waiter insisted that we still had to pay for the cheesecakes because they had already been boxed. While they offered a 10% discount if we wished to purchase the cinnamon buns, we found this resolution unsatisfactory.
Overall, we left feeling very disappointed with the experience.

My friend and I had a wonderful meal here today! Our waitress (Camryn?) was very polite and attentive and made our visit quite enjoyable! Our meals were served hot and tasty in a timely manner even though the place was quite busy! We will be back soon- our new fave place!!!🙌🏼😀

Have gone here a few times now and the food is really great and super affordable for the amount you’re getting. Drinks are very affordable, we paid around 40 dollars for 3 drinks including tip! Atmosphere is great and the staff are really nice! I highly recommend this restaurant

I have enjoyed my time at State & Main. Menu is simple but full of great options at reasonable price. My friend had the fish tacos and it looked amazing. I had the chicken, a generous portion perfectly cook. Did not regret it!
