Stolen Goods is exactly the kind of place Downtown Ottawa has been in desperate need of. Fair warning: the venue is small, so get a reservation to avoid disappointment at the door.The care and passion that Ray, Mike and Adam put into making each drink and menu item can be felt. It really is an experience, and they are artists of their craft.We have visited this bar at least a dozen times since it opened and the service and quality have never wavered. Ray is usually our server and he is friendly, funny, and is always willing to tell you more about the creation process of their menus.The menu is varied with some unique options that are well worth the venture (Three Brothers is a favourite of ours!). With constantly changing drink and food options it feels new and exciting each time you go, and there's always something for even the pickiest of drinkers. Their special events are also always a blast!This truly is a local gem and I cannot wait to see what this team comes up with next!

Stolen Goods is without a doubt the best bar in Ottawa. Mike, Ray and Adam are true masters of their craft and offer exceptional service in a cosy, intimate atmosphere. I used to primarily be a beer guy, but Stolen Goods has managed to spark a serious passion for cocktails that I never thought possible - that's how good this bar is.

My husband and I are regulars of this bar. It's a very nice, intimate atmosphere, with absolutely delicious drinks. The drinks menu rotates by season, and we love coming back to check out the changes each season. We love this place! :)

Yes it can be difficult to find a table.Yes it feels like we are rushed with time limit.However this place is a true gem with an amazing selection on alcohol and food. Their work is a piece of art and it is reminiscent of small Japanese pubs with good food and drinks. Speaking of which, they have one of the best selection of Japanese alcohol I've seen in Ottawa.Wish they were more places with this business model and dedication of the 3 owners.

Hung out with a friend for a few hours here while waiting for a reservation at another restaurant. It was a comfortable and enjoyable space. The noise level was fine for conversing with my friend. I am not well-versed in cocktailology so wasn't sure what to order. The bartender ended up making me three different non-alcoholic drinks based on minimal instructions (e.g., "Make me something sour"). He knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend this place.
Beautiful little place. Love the ambiance, dark and cozy. The bar display is impressive and cocktails were top! The food was good, but far too overpriced imo for the portions you get and although the food was good, it was not spectacular enough to justify the prices.

I love the themes they come up with and couldn't ask for a more perfect place to have drinks and sample some tasty foods to pair with them.We make sure to visit for pre-dinner drinks every time we are in town.

Absolutely delightful experience, as always. Restaurant is very small, so would recommend reserving in advance, but I love sitting at the bar and watching the magic happen. Can't recommend the beef tartar enough, and I've never gone wrong with any drinks off the menu, or the guidance provided by the bar team when looking for something not listed in the menu. That 3 brothers cocktail is a delicious mystery that I hope stays on the menu for a long time!

Managed to get a seat at the bar without a reservation on a busy night several months ago and was very impressed by the cocktails and service. Decided to make a reservation for my husband's birthday for cocktails and to try the whole food menu. Made the reservation about 2 weeks in advance and was given no advance warning they would be running a Spongebob pop-up. We ended up having one drink (which was good) and sat through a couple of Spongebob songs. They didn't have their regular food menu and had very few options to eat. We left scrambling to get a seat at another nearby restaurant without a reservation on a busy Friday night during Winterlude. It didn't make for a very relaxing night out to celebrate his birthday. We would've appreciated being told this when reservation was booked or notified after the fact once the pop-up was advertised.
