Today I ordered a sandwich with mayonnaise, sweet onion teriyaki, and barbeque sauce. This order arrived very dry. I could only taste the sweet onion teriyaki, no Mayo or BBQs. It leads me to ask if your employees are trained to make sandwiches because some branches’ sandwiches are better than other. This sandwich was from Elgin branch. Please train your employees to make the same sandwiches and maintain consistency.

Urgent Health Concerns at Subway 180 Elgin BranchI am writing this review with a heavy heart after witnessing a severe health hazard at your 180 Elgin branch today ( 22 December 2023 ) around 3:26 PM. As a loyal customer, I feel compelled to bring this to your attention and stress its urgency for resolution.During my visit, I observed an irresponsible worker handling white cheese without any gloves, so he’s touching directly the cheese with his bare hands. ( In Subway, they have to unpack the cheese to put it in a container then to serve it in our sandwiches )What's even more concerning is that he touched his phone and AirPods before proceeding to unpack the cheese. This lack of hygiene is unacceptable. Whether or not it aligns with Subway or Canadian regulations, it is crucial that employees handle food with clean hands, or at the very least, wash them thoroughly before any contact.Additionally, this is not an isolated incident; I observed ( not today ) a female employee handling / playing with the toaster cart with her bare hands while engaged in conversation with a coworker. Such actions pose serious health risks and need to be addressed urgently.Regrettably, this isn't the first time I've encountered such issues at your establishment. I previously learned from your staff that there's a lack of thermometer use to measure food temperatures, and that you just copy the same temperatures from the old days, which is another major concern for health and safety standards.I strongly urge you to initiate an inspection at the 180 Elgin St branch. Whether it be from Ontario Health Inspection or Subway's own inspectors, prompt action is necessary to address these issues. My intention is not to call for termination of the employee but rather to emphasize the need for comprehensive training and adherence to hygiene protocols.On a positive note, I want to commend the employee with glasses, who consistently displays professionalism and adheres to hygiene rules. Investing in more training sessions similar to his approach could significantly improve the overall standards at your branch.Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I sincerely hope for swift and effective corrective actions. As a former sandwich artist, I am very particular about which Subway restaurants I will frequent. Luckily this one is convenient and I find myself here multiple times per week!Jalapenos have recently been added to the selection of toppings at this location and I couldn't be happier, I hope they stick around for good!

Do not stay, the two employees give a very clear vibe to get out, and are relentless until you leave, even making walk bys to feel unwelcome, almost choked on my sandwich. But the food is delicious and definitely worth the battle if you choose to eat there.
