We ordered the offer 1 hamburger 1 free for 3 people, so we received 4 hamburgers, we ordered the drink, we received nothing, the fries we received were grilled, it's not clean, no taste, inedible, a real disaster, I do not recommend, never again, it's a scam.

Kids love the halal pepperoni pizza. The dough is delicous. I eat gluten free and always order a lettuce wrapped bun. The hamburger and all beef bacon are also halal. See Haddar if you want a lettuce wrapped burger or sandwich. He is aware of gluten allergies. We go here often for burgers and pizza. Strawberry shakes are good too. Very decent prices.

Delicious food for very reasonable prices! It’s so hard to find somewhere to eat that’s open late in Ottawa that’s not fast food, this place is selling restaurant quality food for fast food speed and prices without compromising quality, sooo difficult to see nowadays!
Amazing staff and owner too! I’ve never walked into a late open food place and not been treated poorly with being given the old food left from the day and a rushed unfriendly customer service experience until now! This is definitely my new near campus food hangout spot, 100% recommended!

I am seriously pissed of these so called "Halal guys".. And their raw burgers and sneaky methods. Here is what happened.
I ordered from them in the past and i stopped because a few times i noticed their burgers were raw (not undercooked).. but RAW! So i stopped ordering from them. And would never again. They did the same mistake again and again, which in other words they DONT CARE ABOUT QUALITY OR SAFETY. Nothing halal about that.
So about a month ago I placed an order from some restaurant called "HalalGuys Burgers N Shakes", thought i would try it. I ordered a chicken mushroom burger and a double patty cheese burger. I received the chicken burger as beef and the double patty as single patty (order was already wrong). Second, BOTH burgers WERE RAW. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS!!!
Why did I mention this??? Because this is the SAME DAMN RESTUARANT!
I felt I had this damn unholy experience before!!! Same burgers, same raw, same packaging.. oh wait its same address!!!
Their previous name got so many bad reviews that they CHANGED / OR ADDED a new name on UBER EATS!!! TO FOOL CUSTOMERS to order again!!!
That is VERY SNEAKY and a VERY DIRTY move!
Not only that.. The actual restaurant called "The Halal Guys" is a very famous franchise of good quality in Canada and USA, so they used this name to fool customer to think it may be the same one.
Instead of changing their methods and quality, they changed their name! I wonder what the next name they will choose next time.. "Super Halal Quality Guys" probably.
To add to all that.. The order was on uber. I gave a bad review, because after eating a couple of bites and noticed that i was eating raw meat i threw the food in the garbage. I tried and tried to get uber to refund me but they didnt. They acknowledge the issue and said they will "take action" and check about this, but i didnt get my refund. After a month i lost hope so I am making a review here also but people should know. I paid for an order to throw in the garbage and risk getting seriously poisoned.
I rated the restaurant and left them comments on uber but they never replied or corrected this or refunded me.
Now they will find a way to blame it on uber somehow like every reply in the reviews as if uber cooked their burgers! This is easily the 3rd or 4th time i saw raw burgers from this place. There is no excuse anymore!
I BET you, many customers had it that way, but they never noticed (because sometimes the beef patties are thin and soft), you would eat raw and not notice (even though its THIN!!!). Just leave it on the grill for a few minutes!!

Edit - I had it commented to be the best but the last trip to the place was disappointing. I wasn't even able to finish it up and had hard time reviewing it again from 5 stars to 2 stars. As I know how good they have been before. I ordered a poutine but instead of Cheese curds I found mozzarella cheese in it. This is something that I really hate in a poutine and have stopped going to shops because of it. I would have rated it 1 star if not for the happy times, and food recieved in the past, along with friendly crew at the location. I have no idea what caused the change in the recipe but it has completely ruined it for me to the extent I can't describe. Won't even have it for free.

Ordered Uber eats. The burger was about as thick as a regular McDonald's burger. I kinda expect handmade burgers to not be so thin and so small overall. Very disappointing.
