I’ve been coming to this small, restaurant-style takeaway near Saint Paul University for over a year now, and it has truly become my favourite place to eat. I love that it’s a family-run shop — Sula, her husband, and their kids all working together. Seeing their children help their parents is genuinely heart-warming and makes the place feel like home. The quality and quantity of the food are consistently excellent, and every visit feels comforting and familiar.

Amazing food, hospitable and lovely owners. We tried the Khao Soi, peanut noodles, thai chicken dumplings / beef momos, Guilin noodles, and teriyaki udon, and pork on fried rice. The service was great and food came quick and fresh. Sula cooks everything and her and Andrew do it all on their own! Will be back, can’t wait to see their store expand

I had a wonderful experience at Sula Wok yesterday. The owner was incredibly kind and offered excellent recommendations regarding flavors and portion sizes. The eggplant dish was particularly outstanding. I will definitely be returning!

A new hidden gem unlocked. I happened to be in downtown and wanted a bite and this placed popped up with a solid 5 star 1000+ reviews. I thought the reviews were fake so I dug deeper into them and they appeard genuine. I walked in and was welcomed by the lady chef (it's a family business), she is social, warm, and welcoming. The food was presented in wooden plates brought from Thailand. The ginger tea was quite flavorful and the food was delicious. I live far from where this place is, but will make a point to dine at it whenever I am around. Well deserved rating.

Such a gem in the neighborhood! It is currently the only spot for Asian food in the area, and we are lucky to have them.
The menu is incredibly varied with lots of dumplings, soups, and noodle dishes to choose from. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, and the prices are good for the quality you get. Only suggestion would be increase the meat ratio in the dumplings slightly so they taste more filled.
Space is limited in the winter with about three tables inside, but in the summer, they have lots of outdoor seating which is lovely. They are currently building a new space right beside the current one.
This is a family-owned business that works hard—definitely go out and support them!
