First time at somewhere dine bar! We were a large group of 12 and we were given a dining area in the back as there was another corporate party in the front. It was a little loud since there were two big bookings and it took longer for all our food to come out. Our reservation was at 6pm and although we got drinks right away, we did not get appetizers until 7pm and mains at 7:30pm.Onto the drinks and food! They have some good specials before 7pm - $11 martinis (vodka martini, espresso martini, etc) and $2 oysters. Both were great and the oysters came with a tasty jalapeño sauce.For the main, I got the osso buco ($39) which had braised veal, bone marrow and risotto. The server poured all the sauce over the dish and I realized afterwards that it was just way too much sauce. I would recommend just keeping it to the side and adjust to your liking. The dish was quite tasty and filling, but could have came out hotter.Overall a fine time since we were with good company. Service was attentive as well.

Second time I’ve been here and food is still not good. I tried to keep an open mind. I’ve tried a few different things but all my friends and I agree, not the place to come if you want great food. Vibe and service are decent but I’d probably much rather be at Riviera or anywhere else.

We were excited to go to Somewhere, but once we arrived, the bouncer asked us if we’d had too many drinks when when got to the entrance, when in fact we barely had any. We left right away, because he had the audacity to presume that we weren’t sober enough to enter. That was enough to make us turn back and leave. I’ve gone to Somewhere many times before and enjoyed my time, but to be met with that presumption before we even entered the establishment was outright disappointing. Best not to make assumptions next time.

Was here with a friend for dinner and the food is really good. And the portion size are actually decent that gets you stuffed. The dumplings were a little salty but we paired it with the tuna and it was actually good. The puff pastry with the salmon was really good.

Love love love! We were randomly sent here at the suggestion of another server in the area… and what a great suggestion it was!! Seriously fantastic variety of unique cocktails, well thought out taste combinations with energy and intent placed behind all ingredients, garnish and presentation. We planned on just drinks but ended up with Oysters as well. Chef had prepared a nice palate for garnishing, and they were so enjoyed! Relaxed deck out back was great, sunny, but not sun-burny! Service was absolutely spot on! I will send many this direction! So grateful for the experience!! I can’t wait to come back!
