I ordered food from them and the order was incorrect and the food I received I could not eat because I have an allergy I called and they couldn’t and wouldn’t help me because it was an uber order. If I owned a company I would be sending a correct order as an apology but they would not do anything.

This is a great place, the staff was super friendly even after I spilt 2 items. They were quick to grab us napkins and help tidy up.
Staff is quick with orders even though they use paper ordering that you just leave on your table.
The food was very good, I would definitely recommend this place if you want all you can eat sushi.

Would definitely avoid this place. The staff range between incredibly timid (i.e. afraid) to cold and unfriendly. The sushi was passable but the cooked lunchtime dishes were uniformly terrible. Now some might say $25 plus tax is just the post-pandemic restaurant world, but I remember this restaurant from just 10 years ago and it was a great place at 17$ for the lunch buffet. A sad experience especially since I'm here with my son who recommended it at that time for a lunch with his friends... not sure it'll last much longer, despite all the businesses all around the location. Unless they very quickly change their approach.

We got Uber eats from this place. The salmon bento box came with french fries, which was not listed in the description, and french fries shouldn’t be served in a japanese sushi restaurant. The sashimi were good, but a bit too thin. The sushi had wayyyyyy too much rice to the point that you couldn’t taste the fish on top. Overall mediocre spot.

An excellent food fusion location, the sushi was done exceptionally well with obvious care and unexpectedly they had excellent thick cut fries which is a bit unconventional but was welcom.
I ordered a la carte aiming for a salmon bento and didn't pay to much attention to the sides. The food came out right away and the appraisers were declious, the salmon sushi was incredible, the rice and sushi were both at different and perfect temperatures and cut very well allowing for max flavor, not falling into the pitfall of having too much vinegar on the rice.
I was very surprised when ketchup arrived at my table just before the bento, then I saw the fries I had missed on the menu, they were freshly made and crispy! Extremely delicious.
In addition to the food, I sort of stumbled into the restaurant a bit confused and even with the Al la carte menu I was supposed to put my order on paper and despite being asked to do this tried to order verbal by mistake, before correctly myself. Thought the process the staff were very kind, never getting frustrated with me despite me being a bit thick headed at moments. The staff literally couldn't have been better, and the speed of service was incredible.

I ordered through Uber Eats and got the Mango & salmon roll. The mango was so hard that it had no taste at all. I ended up throwing it out. The sashimi was very good though

I took my son today, January 15th, 2025 for lunch to Sushi Kan on Baseline to take advantage of the HST and GST tax exemption (available until Feb. 15th… 😎). The restaurant wasn’t busy so our orders were quickly delivered and nicely presented and as always everything was very tasty and fulfilling. The menu is updated so I will post pics with the new items, prices and hours. This place never disappoints and in my opinion it is still the best sushi place in the Ottawa region, even if there are no tablets to order or robots to replace the young waiters, or maybe I’m just getting old and prefer human interaction ? 🤷♂️ You can’t beat their price and there are always plenty of free parking spaces as well. Don’t forget when you pay to ask to have your points added to your phone number so you can enjoy free meals…😜 Thanks for taking time to read my review and rate it accordingly please 😻
