Very disappointed. Sushi Kan advertises Buy One Get One Free on Uber Eats, but now two times in a row they have not included the free items. The second time, I even left a friendly reminder in the order notes, and still didn’t receive them.

The sushi itself is good, but I won’t continue to support a business that doesn’t honor its advertised promotions. If you’re going to offer a deal, you should stand behind it.

Came here for AYCE and overall it was pretty disappointing. The biggest issue was portion balance and consistency. Many sushi items had way too much rice with only a tiny piece of fish, and several dishes looked noticeably different from what’s shown on the menu. It really felt like the focus was on filling you up with rice rather than delivering proper sushi.

The beef dishes were extremely tough and hard to chew, to the point where it was unenjoyable. The veal had almost no flavour at all, very bland and forgettable. Most items were edible and tasted okay at best, but nothing stood out in a good way, especially for an AYCE place at this price point.

Atmosphere and service were acceptable, but the food quality just doesn’t justify coming back. Overall, it feels like quantity over quality. If you’re not picky and just want to eat a lot, it might be fine - but if you care about flavour, texture, or value, this place falls short.

Food is actually decent here but the people that service can get kinda outta hand. Used to come here alot till service deteriorated.

Lots of time I came here now in the past 2 year, they started asking for tips frequently which I'm fine with tipping if its good and good service but service been off

Couple times I payed and tipped but I know few friends who don't go out often and lack money don't tip got yelled by the person at the front. I think that's assault to be fair and so rude how can anyone act like that. Anyways I stopped coming here frequently and it's been once in a blue moon here and things haven't really changed.

Not so bad for last resort or close to but hope they improve because lots of my friends shut this place off their list because of their attitude.

The AYCE menu is nice and they have some unique options. Quality is average. They do a good job for AYCE. 4 stars

Ordered a party test once and the quality was lacking. Won't do take out again unless I'm ordering specific menu items I know I like. 2 stars

The quality and service here were the worst I’ve had in Ottawa. The meat was tough, the chicken wings tasted spoiled, the wonton soup was basically peppered water, and the dumplings and rolls had no too much salt—nothing tasted fresh.
The service was just as disappointing: an inattentive waiter who stared more than he served, and staff laughing in the back made the whole experience uncomfortable and disrespectful.

I'm not sure what happened. I have been eating here for years and it was always busy and the food tasted amazing. What a disappointment now. The meat was all tough but swimming in sauces to cover it up, chicken wings were spoiled, wonton soup with 1 tiny wonton in a clear liquid like they just poured water over it and added some pepper, dumplings and rolls didn't have any flavour. Everything was just off - what a waste of 100$ for two. No surprise the place was actually empty on a Friday evening.

First time at this location as I usually visit the one on Innes rd. I regret not going there this evening as they are better than this location. Food wasn't great here and we asked for 4 spicy mayo only to be told they charge 1$ per mayo. Other locations it has always been complimentary with the price of the buffet. Wasn't impressed as we were spending 160$ for a family of 4 and they couldn't provide condiments? Will definitely not be back to this location.

Calm atmosphere, fast service, servers rarely can get tables or orders mixed up but understanding and lenient with their leftover charge. With great food

This place has THE best sushi roll in ALL of Ottawa.

Sushi kan roll, yummy yummy roll, and the arctic roll (rice paper with lettuce and salmon) .. come for lunch price.

That’s the hack. My favourite restaurant in Ottawa.

Love coming for all-you-can-eat lunch. The menu is wide and anybody can find anything they like, it's not only sushi!
I love getting the miso soup, kimchi rice, General Tao's chicken, cucumber and mango hand rolls, Korean beef, sesame balls, tofu pockets and yam tempura.

Always have a good experience here. The weekend service was prompt and food was delicious--the fish was finely cut (not soggy) and fried items perfectly crisp. Servers often stopped by to ask if we were okay or if we needed refills. I also find this location is priced more competitively than some other all you can eat locations (<$30.00) for weekend lunch). Restaurant seems accessible, with a sturdy, shallow ramp to the front door and wide aisles
