The place is good if you want to eat a buffet, the food is always delivered hot, sometimes the waiters are a little serious but they are fast.Parking: The parking lot is a little big, there is capacity for 6 cars, depending on the time you arrive, it varies how many cars you will find, it is usually emptyWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, it looks a little old and unsafe

The food is not good as it used to be. Also a staff was surprised because there was a mouse that ran across the room. It was quite hilarious. But yeah, there's mice. There's probably a lot of them based of how active it was during a busy dinner service. Hopefully that gets controlled. Customer service was good though!

My recent visit to sushi kan was deeply disappointing, marked by uncomfortable service and substandard food quality. From the moment we were seated, the level of professionalism plummeted. Our waiter was disturbingly inattentive, dedicating what seemed like half of his time to staring at us rather than ensuring our dining experience was pleasant. This made us feel uneasy and unwelcome, a feeling that was exacerbated by the sound of laughter from the staff area whenever our food was brought out.The food itself was a disaster. The tofu, which I have included a photo of in my review, looked unappetizing and tasted no better. It seemed as though minimal effort had been put into its preparation. Furthermore, much of the meal appeared to be made from frozen ingredients, lacking any freshness or flavor one would expect from a restaurant that charges for a quality dining experience. The atmosphere created by the staff, who seemed to find amusement in our dissatisfaction, was the final straw. Such unprofessional behavior casts a dark shadow over sushi kan and its management. It is regrettable that a place that could offer a pleasant dining experience is let down so severely by its service and food quality. I would not recommend this restaurant until significant improvements are made. The only good thing was the dynamic sushi.

Walked up to the doors and read the “no debit” sign. Aren’t we in 2024? Turned around, left, went to Sapporo.
My favourite place to frequent, quick service, friendly staff, and a good selection!

When the sushi is good it’s quite good, but there seems to be some quality control issues, who would serve avocado that looks like this? It’s unacceptable..ordered take out, otherwise I would have asked them to take it back

I have been coming to this place for years because of the amount of rolls that you could buy and it's all you can eat, until the beginning of this year when I showed up on Saturday January 6th made my regular usual order and was then fat shamed by the waiter who told us that was a lot of food so if you do go to this place please pay $28 and do not order more than two 6-piece rolls or else this this waiter will fat shame you in front of the entire restaurant.

Edit: As we were drinking the pops they were forcing us to pay for so we weren't going to waste, a lovely sweet server came over and said she was sorry for the terrible experience. She had called the owner and got permission to serve us a la carte in restaurant. Not quite what we wanted but at least some effort to help. We appreciated her kindness. Hence changed service review to 3 stars. Still not sure I would come back but she was very nice and felt bad for us as she saw what happened. This was the worst experience we have ever had. The staff was rude and demeaning. They advertise lunch being served until 2pm but when we arrived well before 2pm, we were told we had to pay for dinner prices. I said no its we'll before 2pm which is what you advertise and the guy said ok so we proceeded to sit down to order. We confirmed with our server bc it looked like a dinner menu at which time a supposed "manager" came over and raised his voice to us being very rude refusing to honor the advertised price. We then said ok, we will just order a la carte then because we weren't hungry enough to justify paying $40/person for lunch. The rude manager said no, you can't order a la carte for eating in despite the situation being what it was and we had alreasy sat down and had drinks prepared to order lunch. Then they said we had to pay for the two pips we had alreasy ordered when we expected lunch. So we continued to sit and just drink our pops. Terrible experience.

When the sushi is good it’s quite good, but I noticed there seems to be some quality control issues (at least for this type of sushi I’ve gotten several times) where the fish on top is very little and not spread evenly over the whole top like it’s supposed to be for many of the pieces in the order. Also ingredients often don’t taste as fresh
