Panaeng curry was to die for, really. Shrimp spring rolls were good but seemed too expensive for what they were (about $15 for 4 small rolls). This place has an amazing looking cocktail menu, but didn’t get to try any this time!

A group of 5 of us were very warmly greeted by Alain (co-owner/ chef). It had been at least 10 years since I had been to Sweet Basil, and found the redesigned dining area to be much cozier and appealing an atmosphere than before. We asked A LOT of questions, and Alain had all of the answers with obvious passion for his craft. We ate a family style meal with 5 different dishes (#'s 37, 41, 42, 48 & F) and everything, and I mean EVERY-THING, was delicious!!We wanted Tiramisu for dessert but they were out, and Alain whipped up deep fried bananas for us, free of charge. Loved the conversation, and had a truly memorable experience from start to finish. We will DEFINITELY be back. :D
