Great place to visit and the staff is very kind. 10/10 recommend if you want to try the best sweets in Ottawa.
Amazing Arab sweets! Good prices and very tasty.
What a waste of time and money. The worst part is thinking you're eating something healthy, when the dessert is actually more like junk food. The Ashta isn't real, the fruits have no flavor, and the place isn't clean. Plus, the staff gave off a lot of negative and toxic vibes.
This will be my last visit to this place. First, the staff member did not wash her hands after handling money from a customer. Second, the Ashta is no longer the same — it used to taste good a year ago, but now it tastes really bad. The fruit also has no flavor, likely because it’s been soaked in water for too long.
There cakes are amazing but the staff is extremely terrible. I called in to get a cake twice and they kept saying it's busy. I believed them and called them 5 hours later. The staff said that they will return my call in a couple of minutes. 15 minutes passed. I called back again. Not once but thrice. They kept picking up my call and when I said hello, they disconnected it.
Worst experience ever. The owner should hire new responsible staff.
No doubt their Baklawa are fresh. But avoid buying their pastries cake. Their pastries cake were not fresh at all. It seems like it was sitting there for a week. We bought 5 different pastries and all of them were bad.
Thank you for your services.
Extremely disappointed
I bought 1kg of baklawa and I bet you that half the weight was in the syrup it use to be very light and fluffy
Above and beyond to fix mistakes and the food was insanely good

A small place selling a wonderful variety of Lebanese-inspired sweet pastries. Sadly there's no place to sit down to enjoy them. I can understand why previous reviewers got stale goods, the baklava stock on hand was far more than they could possibly sell in a day. Prices are a bit high, but their takeout container is a conversation piece!

Omg noooo. They changed the recipe for the opera cake.
That's my favorite cake ever from here. It taste so different!!!
It's not moist anymore.
The cake layers are super dry with barely any coffee syrup.. The ganache is hard and it barely has a coffee taste!
I'm so disappointed 😞
