Swizzles is a cool, inclusive bar in Ottawa's business district. They offer regular live entertainment, including burlesque, drag, and live music. Great place to meet new people or hang with friends.
Drink prices were good. The bar seems to be full of regulars, the server behind the bar made us feel more like a nuisance than customers. Seats at the bar reserved for people who never sat in them despite the place being packed, asked to order drinks and ignored right off the bat. Probably not a place for tourists and more so for locals/regular visitors. Was a queer friendly space tho.
It's says it's a bar and grill, but you can't order house made food. Great place for a drink, but if you're expecting good food, then you're better off somewhere else. Karaoke night is great though
