Wonderful laid back atmosphere and the food is equally as great. The family who own the restaurant are always friendly and very efficient. We live in the area and eat here about once a month and are never disappointed.
Our second visit to a Taj Mahal. The first one, we ate in. The food was excellent, the service was perfect, the cost was extremely reasonable, the decor of the restaurant is a little dated. The second visit, we had take out. The food was excellent, portions were perfect, and the cost wasn't more than we've spent on brunch at other restaurants.If you want to go to a restaurant for the decor, suit yourself, as for us, we'd much rather have great food and amazing prices. Highly recommend this place as a hidden gem ?

Daal makhni : ❤️❤️ i never ever get anywhere in ottawa like this2. Shahi paneer: was tasty too..3. Plain naan: it was good4. Garlic : its was ok ok because its stuff garlic naan , the naan sides are too thick(they served into 4-6 smallPieces )Overall, very good experienceMust try

Run by an Indian couple, you get personal and personable service here. Quiet Indian music is an appreciated background for those who wish to chat. We tried 3 lamb dishes, all were served beautifully and were superbly spiced. The lamb chunks were a bit overcooked and fibrous, but tasty.
