Visited 'On the Hill' many years ago, and it left a deep impression on me back then. This time, I brought my kids along, and they absolutely loved it. The pulled pork was their favorite.

Closed unexpectedly. No notice or warning. Nothing sign or anything stated on the building just several locked gates. No parking and very difficult to locate street parking nearby.
Parking: Will have to park a few blocks away as majority spots close by are reserved.

So happy we stumbled upon this place - really pretty outlook. Thankyou to the lovely server that was filling in - she was so polite and friendly. Overall great service.
Really nice sitting area, with a variety of comfy couches or traditional seating or high tops.
Food was okay, but would more so return for a drink and the view.

We wanted to go to this place for quite a long time. Ultimately made it. Nice location with the best view. Were able to see nice sunset on ottawa river. Food and booze was ok but i found it real expensive. Guess you pay for the location. Dogs are allowed but they should be on leash. As for parking, you can park free near french embassy.

It's beautiful but service is a ZERO the only reason I give it a 2 star is because we got seated after 10 minutes when they said "we can take your name but we don't take your phone number you have to wait on the side here and it's at least 40 min". So people leave of course... They called us 10 min after. It's busy but not crowded, easy to understand why: the place is so badly organized. The environment has too much space in between the table, huge seat/couches for 2 people when you could sit 10. I was like seriously you are seating us here ? And then, they tell us that for drinks we have to go serve ourselves at the bar no waiters and order food looking at the app then order I think with someone. What the heck is that? It's not worth the hype, not one second.
Good view, good location. It is a wise choice to be there at the sunset, have a drink, grab a bite, watching the nice view. Of course if the weather is OK...

Excellent spot to enjoy a drink on a patio and watch the sunset! It’s all bar service, and sometimes there can be a long line to get your orders in, but the staff a very friendly - shoutout to Alex and Reid! Most drinks are $12-16. Great date night spot or place to bring visitors!
