We ordered the Sushi & Me for $70 - 58 pcs | 10 nigiri, 48 pcs rolls by the chef, and the rice was hard. Most sushi were not fresh and unappetizing. All the sushi were fill with old avocado and tasted the same. The worst experience so far ordering sushi. We will never go back, 85 $ down the drain.

I wish I could review the sets separately because I loved the spicy salmon roll but the Lotus not so much.Salmon was really great. fresh tasting fish, good spice level, reasonable price. Lotus was a bit bland and just not what I was really looking for. IIRC it had albacore which was really buttery but I wish it had a bit more flavour.Overall I wish the sushi rice was a bit more tender and maybe had a bit more sushi vinegar. Fish is clearly incredible quality. Really really kind staff working there.

Oh my god this is a gem! I walked in yesterday being really hungry and had no idea about this place. They only do take-out, I told them I only had 10 minutes, they said they could make tempura shrimp rolls in 5 minutes. And they did! Just in front of me. There was a pleasant man and a woman there who were making the rolls. The rolls were so good!!! I will definitely come back and will write about them in my blog.

This is my favourite place to get sushi in Ottawa. The rolls are always super fresh with lots of interesting and unique varieties. This is also a great small business to support. The owners are always very friendly and kind.
Some of the best specialty rolls I’ve tasted in Ottawa. Must get the first roll in my pictures I forget the name but it’s the 3rd one on the menu at their takeout counter under Cherry Blossom. Pretty unique flavours and overall very satisfied, I would come again. Miso soup was also great and piping hot. Great service, so kind! Only tip would be to improve on the rice.

I've had a LOT of ottawa sushi, so I'm coming from a base of experience here and I'll start with the positives and end on the negatives.I have to say, in the end, it's better than your mega chain choices of sushi kan/168 sushi as far as CHOICES go, they have a very creative menu and if you are vegan or averse-to-raw they've got a delightfully long list of cooked and/or vegan rolls to choose from. They score bonus points for calling me back to confirm my GF requirements as well as providing real Wasabi and real pickled ginger (I imagine it's pickled in house; its still a ginger colour and not hot pink).But the actual taste of the fish and the rice leaves a little bit to be desired, and of all the new creative rolls I got to try, honestly I still enjoyed my avocado and cucumber roll the best. So if you want to try something really new with sushi, they probably have it, but don't expect to be wowed by the quality. I've ordered here many times and have never been disappointed! The rolls are well made and always fresh. The fish tastes excellent and their ingredients are always good (cucumber, avocado etc). I like how the menu is a bit different which allows me to try new sushi options, but at the same time I wish it included more regular rolls from other sushi restaurants (ex dragon rolls). The food quality is always there whether you do pick up or delivery. The staff are very friendly and helpful when you pick up.
